Before the Civil War, the only contact 90% of Americans had with the feds was the post office.
Other presidents had a job to do, which included politics and the work of the presidency. Trump's job is to make himself more powerful and important.
That is the argument I often get in return, but I still think there is a line, they don’t have to repeat what he says on social media or his views on events that don’t effect or enter his world
The News Media has lost almost all credibility exactly because they decided that they have the right to decide who gets heard....exactly because of their hostility to democracy.

The Europeans are even worse.....in my X feed last week I saw where a German media outlet had a German politician on...someone currently elected to office..... she had the gall to say some truth about Russia so they cut her off mid sentence......cut away.....and called her a liar.
Trump can never do no wrong.
In his first term, he was telling lies at an incredible rate. It was so bad that news organizations started to keep track. He hit 30,000 in 4 years. He has not slowed down this time. Trump is a flawed person in many ways. He is not presidential material. I hope we survive him.
