Maybe, I would have to know how many did the things you claim, but anyone who broke the law should have been arrested. Wanting someone out of jail on bond pending trial is not the same thing as not wanting them to never go do jail.

What is to long for assault on a LEO? Should prior acts and expression of contrition lower the sentence?
I have never been happy about anyone getting away with Battery or assault on a LEO.

When your crime is on video, you are almost always convicted.

Anyone who assaults a police officer who is engaged in their lawfu duties should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

The George Floyd riots injured police officers and destroyed public property. Many were arrested, prosecuted and convicted. None, AFAIK, were MAGA morons.

While I don't know their politics, anyone who attacked a police officer doing their duty or destroyed public property is a criminal and deserves to be prosecuted.

That said, unlike the MAGA Nazis on JPP are advocating, most BLM protestors were peaceful and in compliance with the law. The same can be said of those attending the 1/6 rally on the Mall. Most were peaceful. A couple thousand were not and Trump pardoned them.

An injured police officer does not mean someone battered a police officer.

I agree, anyone who did, should have been, and likely was, arrested and prosecuted.

This one will be difficult but not impossible to prove, since the J6 committee destroy ALL the files. Are you so really going to remain in the dark on this? Many defendants walked into trials with excellent lawyers and a strong case of the innocences only to be COMPLETELY SHOCKED that they were VERY quickly found guilty and literally led out in shackles. That doesn't happen in a free Country like ours, at least if hadn't.

Why don't you check out some of the peoples stories and explanations to what happened to them. I know you won't be able to believe them, because they're evil Trump supporters but I happen to take their word over a very crooked January 6 committee that just got pardoned by the way for crimes they didn't commit. hmmm

It's happen before, Stalin was known for trials and prosecution rates like these along with every other scumbag dictator or third world Countries run by thugs. Therein lies the difference. Law abiding citizens like ourselves believe people who break the law, are tried and convicted for their crimes, need to suffer the consequences.

Nobody walks into trial thinking they are going to get evidence given to them at trial, that does not happen. Why did they walk in confident of a strong case?

The January 6 Committee has nothing to do with the trials or evidence for the trials. Are you insane?

The 1/6 committee had no power to charge anyone, and did not charge anyone. (are you really this dumb?)

Absolutely right! Any and all people that break the law, and certainly any assault on any officer of the LAW, should have the full weight of that law brought down upon them, the Libtard party has always believed this. We acknowledge that 571 people were charged with assaulting or impeding an officer, and in both cases, they were charged as felonies.

We also know that the recently pardoned CRIMINALS in the J6 committee did so whether they had ANY evidence at all to support the charges. We admit that many innocent people with no criminal history entered the court confident of acquittal. They were armed with great attorneys and the facts to back up their innocence. Yes they were shocked when they were quickly found guilty and ushered out in shackles for their very first trip to prison.

They definitely deserve their clean record destroyed by partisan evil bitches and bastards. We know that most of the 571 victims were hearing of crazy verdicts, and decided to plead guilty to lesser charges to avoid the bullshit felony charge. Finally, we acknowledge that the proceedings were partisan prosecutions by truly bitter, angry, hate-filled, political hacks, but we don't care because we're partisan libtard drones.
