I have several black friends that strongly believe integration was bad for black Americans. They still desire having black communities with black owned businesses and black money staying in the black community (similar to the Chinese and other ethnic communities). Now in 2020 America is far more diverse than it was in 1950, and integration has occurred, so that's pretty much a pipe dream. But if people try to make it work they definitely can.
