A Florida caregiver was arrested Wednesday after a years-long investigation revealed he impregnated a woman with disabilities while working in a group home, police said.

Willie Fred Shorter, 58, was arrested on a charge of committing lewd and lascivious battery on a disabled person, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office said.

Shorter was working in a group home run by the Bridges foundation when he allegedly impregnated a woman who has “the mental capacity of a small child” and is unable to give consent, Florida Today reported. The staff discovered the woman, who was not identified, was pregnant in January and contacted police.

Authorities in Kentucky arrested a woman after her 4-year-old daughter became unresponsive at school.

Authorities say the child tested positive for cocaine, and so did her 2-year-old sibling.

Police say the entire incident happened at a head start school.

Police arrested the child's mother, 31-year-old Annquita Wright.

Wright admitted that she would let a friend sell cocaine and crack at her home in front of her three kids.

Wright's little girl told investigators that she had seen something on the floor of her home and picked it up and ate it.

Further investigating revealed Wright's 2-year-old son tested positive for cocaine as well.

Wright is charged with two counts of criminal abuse and jail records show she is already a fugitive from another state.

Police believe a man arrested for allegedly flashing a woman at a Hartford gas station may be responsible for several similar incidents in Southwest Michigan.

Eldra Lee Thomas was formally charged Friday with aggravated indecent exposure.

Hartford police arrested him Thursday night in Benton Township, a day after the flashing incident at the Shell gas station on County Road 687, just north of I-94.

Thomas is a person of interest in at least two other flashing incidents from last month in Berrien Springs and Niles. However, police tell 24 Hour News 8 he may be involved in as many as five incidents.

In every case, the suspect would call a woman over to his vehicle and then expose himself.

Thomas was taken into custody after police released a gas station surveillance image of the suspect’s vehicle.

The car eventually came to a stop, with four people fleeing the car, police say.

Liberals like to equate white supremacy to the republicans.
It is a fact that overwhelmingly blacks vote for democrats. Can we play that same game and say that the criminals in these photos can be equated to the Democratic Party.

A woman is in jail after she fled from deputies while allegedly drunk and holding a baby on her lap, according to the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff’s office said a deputy attempted to pull Raquel Gonzalez over near the Highway 180/99 interchange around 2 a.m. Saturday, but Gonzalez instead continued driving east on 180 at a high speed. Gonzalez exited at Chestnut Avenue and drove to her home on Thomas Avenue just south of the freeway.

That’s where she was contacted by a deputy as she stepped out of her car. Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botti said in a release that Gonzalez, 27, was carrying her 3-year-old niece on her lap during the pursuit. The deputy did not find a car seat. Child Protective Services took immediate hold of the child.

A California Highway Patrol officer gave Gonzalez a sobriety test, which she failed, the sheriff’s office said. She was booked into Fresno County Jail and charged with felony child endangerment, evading police and a misdemeanor of driving under the influence.

A couple is facing charges of aggravated child abuse and child neglect after a child was hospitalized with a skull fracture, authorities said.

Melissa Elias and Jerry Rivera, both 26, were arrested morning and booked into the County jail.

The Sheriff's Office said it was called to Wolfson Children's Hospital, where doctors were treating a boy with a skull fracture. A doctor told police the child had extensive swelling in the head and scalp, as well as contusions and bruising on the chest, back, neck and behind the ears. There were also facial cuts. The doctors said those injuries did not come from a fall and, if left untreated, could cause the child to die.

Police questioned Elias and Rivera.

Police have not disclosed the age of the child, but Scottie Brown, who lives in the same apartment complex as the couple, said it often sounded like a small child was running through the couple's apartment, which is directly below his apartment.

As of Friday afternoon, according to online jail records, Elias was being held on $150,000 bond and Rivera was being held on $90,000 bond.
