Correction, I am the one with the ego problem. I openly admit to being an elitist, and my historical role-models/heroes are John Adams (just wrote a senior thesis on him) and John Quincy Adams. I also admire Hamilton, Clay, Webster and Lincoln. All of them except Lincoln had major egos and thought highly of themselves (especially Hamilton).
