An honest question brother .. not meant to enflame ..

What is the significance of Bin Laden?

I ask because I've heard his name mentioned at least 10 times tonight at the DNC .. yet no one talks about what the significance is .. especially given that Bin Laden was not involved in 9/11.

Checked the Dow or the NASDAQ lately?

The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJI - 13,292.00) rocketed to its intraday acme of 13,294.13, and maintained all but a few points of this upswing, advancing 244 points, or 1.9%, by the time the dust settled. All 30 blue chips took a step higher today, with Bank of America and Cisco Systems, Inc. leading the bullish parade with gains of 5% and 4.4%, respectively.



In last-minute trading, the S&P 500 Index (SPX - 1,432.12) ran to a more than four-year acme, adding 28.7 points, or 2%, by the closing bell.



Turning in the best performance of its fellow benchmarks, the Nasdaq Composite (COMP - 3,135.81) rallied 66.5 points, or 2.2%, to settle at its highest perch since mid-November 2000.

How about you answering my question first .. what is the significance of Bin Laden .. OR, you can dispute that he was involved in 9/11 .. which of course you don't want to do :0) knowing that I know what I'm talking about and can back it up.

You know what I find entertaining? That knot in your throat wondering how you're going to do that.

Nice try, but that isn't the truth. Most Americans believe that Bin Laden was directly connected to 9/11 .. and when you hit them with the truth, most won't believe it because they've been programmed to believe otherwise.

"The FBI has no hard evidence connecting Bin Laden with the 9/11 attacks on America" - FBI spokesman Rex Tomb

Both Bush and Cheney say they never connected Bin Laden to 9/11. They don't know where Americans got that from. In fact, Bush told everyone that he was not that interested in Bin Laden.

So where did all this come from? Bin Laden was target number one just moments after 9/11 happened.

Could it be the so-called "confession" tapes? Obviously those tapes have been discredited by the FBI and every other intelligence agency. Else he would have been charged.

So who made the tapes? Why weren't the tapes publicly discredited?

It appears this government was perfectly willing to have Bin Laden as a boogeyman even though they knew he was not involved.

You say that like it's a fact. That's a very debatable claim on your part. I was not involved in doing the dishes last night after dinner but do you really believe the kids would have done them had I not been there to influence their behavior?

Dude, when you're involved in a criminal conspiracy if you're in for a penny you're in for the whole pound. Even if OBL was not directly involved in the 911 attacks he was certainly inderectly involved and gave tacit approval as the head of Al Qaeda. That makes him just as guilty as the people who flew the planes into those buildings and the people who planned the operation. That my brother is the significance of OBL.

He thinks the conversation is about somebody else's dishes. He's a "truther", it is very entertaining. Basically, he thinks that your claim of the kids doing the dishes has nothing to do with the conversation of dishes. He doesn't believe you've proved the dishes were yours and thinks that there was a conspiracy to make them clean that had nothing to do with your kids, they couldn't possibly have cleaned the dishes because professional dish cleaners have told him how hard it is to clean dishes and amateurs could never pull of the maneuvers necessary to get those dishes clean. Nor could you possibly have hot enough water to get them clean without special equipment and a huge behind the scenes secretive plot.

You can assume anything that makes you feel good if you don't require proof. Obviously, you don't require any.

Bin Laden has been investigated up the ass for the crimes of 9/11 by the best terrorism investigators in the world.

Evidence that he gave tacit approval for the crimes of 9/11 is evidence that would get him charged for it. Do you have any? The FBI doesn't.

No concern about where the fake tapes came from or the fact that we had no evidence to connect him to it not a problem for you

have you heard of circumstantial evidence? there is enough of that to find him guilty.

i would like to see the quotes by bush and cheney claiming OBL had nothing to do or not connected with 9/11.
