Assad regime collapses as Syrian rebels seize control of Damascus

This is being deliberately obtuse. Biden's weak foreign policy showed them they were more likely to have success now than they would be under strong leadership. It also infused bad actors with cash so they could fund and arm their proxies.
It's you who is deliberately obtuse. What "success" did Biden allow Iran? Hamas attacked Israel. Israel has lost its fucking mind getting even. Your lazy criticism of Biden is transparent.

Did I say they were successful or they thought they had a better chance at success? Hmm? You are definitely being deliberately obtuse.

Braindead removed sanctions, Iran had more money to invest in their proxy wars with Israel, those came to a head with Braindead in office because they knew they had a better chance at success with a weak president in the US than they ever would with a strong one.

It's like explaining how to add with kids that are in a trigonometry class.... You know how to do it, you just pretend you can't see what is happening. The very definition of deliberate obtuseness...

It isn't possible that the rebels could amass such vast amounts of armor and other equipment without being observed.
The Syrian army knew what was coming. The Russians knew. The Turks knew. Assad knew.
Deals have been done.

"Strong leadership" does nothing to prevent conflict in that part of the world. It never has. It never will. You're just whining about Biden who has been a far better leader than Trump was or will be.

In what ways is it getting better? Ever since humanity invented evil religion, people have been killing each other over that part of the world. It's a meaningless war that will never end. That's why it's particularly stupid and blatantly partisan to blame someone like Biden for Gaza's attack on Israel and never mention Israel's scorched earth retaliation.
Less killing, less war, more rights, more focus on development, etc.

Doomscrolling is negative and results in a distorted view of reality. It's a form of confirmation bias.
OTOH, media, be it MSM or social, thrives on violence, sex and controversy but it's as distorted a view of the world as porn is about human sexual relations.

While you doomscroll, you may also tell yourself that you’re just doing it to stay informed about what’s going on in the world. But there’s something deeper at play.

“When we’re depressed, we often look for information that can confirm how we feel,” Dr. Albers shares. “Doomscrolling operates with the same mindset: If you’re feeling negative, then reading negative news only reconfirms how you feel.”...

...Here’s a look at some of the potential effects of doomscrolling:

  • May worsen mental health issues. “If you’re prone to anxiety, depression or sadness, doomscrolling can be like stepping into quicksand,” Dr. Albers illustrates. “The negativity can pull you under quickly. It can even lead to panic attacks.”
  • May lead to insomnia. In one study, 70% of participants acknowledged checking social media from bed, and the more time they spent doing so, the more likely they were to have trouble falling asleep. “When you’re anxious, it’s hard to turn your mind off to go to sleep,” Dr. Albers points out.
  • Can contribute to “crazymaking.” This term describes situations that manipulate your perception of reality — or even your sense of your own sanity. When it comes to doomscrolling, it works like this: You see information from one media outlet that says one thing, but the very next source you scroll past gives completely conflicting information. “Your mind doesn’t know how to reconcile the two,” Dr. Albers says.
There’s another big downside to simply being online so much.

“Burying your nose in a phone can actually exacerbate feelings of disconnection and loneliness,” Dr. Albers relays. “Too much time on any media or social media sites, whether the news is bad or not, has been linked with feelings of depression.”

Iran knew. Who supplied the Syrian ' terrorists ' with arms ?

So then-- the genocidal Jews are already bombing Damascus and stealing Syrian territory

Haw, haw.............................................................haw.

I'm hoping they catch this bastard and give him a fair trial and a fair hanging just like Saddam Hussein.

Assad regime collapses as Syrian rebels seize control of Damascus

Syrian rebel groups seized control of Damascus on Sunday and declared the country to be "free," following the capture of several major cities in a lightning offensive over the past several weeks.

Why it matters: The rebels' move into Damascus with no meaningful resistance is proof of the de facto collapse of the Assad regime, which has clung to power through 14 years of civil war.

  • It's a stunning development and another major regional earthquake after a year of war in the Middle East, further destabilizing Syria and the region in the short term.
  • In the longer term, it could have dramatic implications not only for Syria, but also its allies: Russia, Iran, and Hezbollah, which helped keep President Bashar al-Assad in power after the 2011 uprising.
State of play: Reuters reported on Sunday morning local time that Assad has left Damascus to an unknown location.

  • On Sunday morning, the rebels also took control of the infamous Sednaya prison in the suburbs of Damascus and freed hundreds of prisoners.
  • Videos on social media showed Syrian soldiers leaving their positions in Damascus, taking off their uniform and changing to civilian clothes.
  • Al Jazeera and other Arab TV networks aired videos of thousands of people in the main square of Damascus cheering and celebrating the fall of the Assad regime.
  • Damascus International Airport is also under rebel control.

Bashar al-Assad, Syria
Although Trump bombed a Syrian airfield in April in response to a gas attack on Syrian civilians, he previously praised Assad as being a stronger leader than Obama, and for fighting ISIS. “I think in terms of leadership, he’s getting an A and our president is not doing so well,” Trump said in September 2015.

Maybe Pedo Don will invite him to stay at Mar-a-Lago?

I see, party line!
Nonsense. What you see is him removing sanctions, and then you saw exactly what I described.

If some "party" is taking that as a line they are reading my posts and taking their lead from my analysis.

I simply do not see how sanction removal on Iran affected Syria .

How did Biden encourage Iran to attack Israel? Agreed the pro-Hamas section of the Democratic Party blamed Israel.
In part he did it by giving Iran billions and lifting sanctions. That gave Iran the necessary means and opening to risk attacks on Israel knowing the US was unlikely to intervene.

Of course, the Left in the Democrat Party blamed Israel. They hate with a passion anyone or thing that is successful with the exception of themselves.

I believe that @Damocles's assertion is that when Biden loosened sanctions on Iran, they gained the financial capability and were emboldened to activate Hamas to attack Israel.

Of course, the entire position is absurd. He hasn't said a word about Israel's reaction. He talks about "strong leadership" in order to criticize Biden and indirectly suck Trump's dick. He's a partisan who doesn't have the balls to admit it.

The Biden foreign policy is bring Iran to its knees!
I was responding to the above quote.... since your post was about Iran and you gave an opinion about Braindead's "awesome" Iran policy, I gave you my analysis on Biden's (crap, misspelled Braindead again, sorry) Iran policy. In that analysis I showed where it started, how it affected Iran and Iran's proxies, and how it finally broke out in attacks that have entangled us in still more foreign wars.

If you do not see how Iran was affecting Syria, then you shouldn't talk about Iran in a thread you start about Syria. I know it was clear which post I was responding to because I quoted it, and since it was your post you were notified and saw which post I quoted.
