At least 5 reportedly stabbed on Lone Star College campus

perhaps if we could make a gun that shoots knives, the liberals would finally wake up to the epidemic of knives.

Ya know, I was about to post something that does just that, then I found this:

I wish I could have made this up.

Imagine the damage if instead of a knife, a firearm was used? Look, you are never going to be able to prevent a madman from doing damage....but why give him a smorgasbord of options in which to inflict that damage? I'm not a big fan of banning guns....however I firmly believe in background checks and registration of firearms. If I were a firearm dealer, I'd want those protections in place for my business. I would never knowingly sell a firearm to a madman or a criminal and I'd want the tools at my disposal to make sure I wasn't.

And registration stops that....how?

Go on, I'm hourly.

You would. He is not very bright. Is he a democrat, a liberal , a socialist or just a dumb ass?

Wow...scintillating and well thought out retort....let's see...you used the words....Democrat, liberal, socialist and dumbass all in the same sentence.... let me guess....you "loves" you some AM radio, don't you?

Ummm...what kind of background checks? Which state are you referring to? Do they check for mental illness, or just felony convictions?
The NICS checks for all of those, and other things. If it's not reported, that's not a fault of the system. Putting morons in charge of a space station doesn't mean the station is flawed when it crashes.

And registration stops that....how?

Go on, I'm hourly.
stops? Did I claim somewhere in my post that it would absolutely, 100% stop anything? Please point that out for me if I did.

Let me ask you something....if you were a gun dealer, would you knowingly sell a firearm to a psychopath or a criminal?

Funny enough, I am a dealer. And no, I would not knowingly sell to criminals and blah blah blah. That's against the law. But registration doesn't do anything to prevent that. It costs billions (if not trillions), leads to no crime being solved, infringes on privacy rights, and has been used as the basis for confiscation in our own country. No, hell no, and mother fucking no.

Confiscation? OK...right there I can see who I am dealing with. Where do you see ANYONE calling for a repeal of the 2nd amendment? I can wait....I'm hourly too.

Privacy rights? Let's see....Conservatives can invade people's bedrooms and the reproductive organs of women....but registering a firearm is an invasion of privacy? Double standard?

You should probably look at the bills passed in NY and CO, as well as proposed in CA, NJ, and MA. Plus, yes, it has happened in the past (NY in 99 and CA in 91).

I'll give you $10,000 if you can find a post by me, ever, supporting that.

But enough obfuscation. Registration has been shown to do nothing but cost money and infringe upon the rights of law abiding people. Why do you think the Canadians dropped it? (It cost them $2,000,000,000 a year by the way).

What the hell are you crying about? Last I checked, your precious whores still maintain the right to slaughter their unborn. What more do you want? Scrambling their brains fresh out of the womb?

And yes, forcing lawful citizens, with ZERO criminal record, to register their weapons is invasion of privacy.

Makes sense. The total number of lawful gun owners in Canada must be somewhere in the neighborhood of three.

What if those lawful citizens with ZERO criminal records are barely controlled homicidal maniacs just waiting for a good enough reason to pop?

As far as the rest of your post? What a kind Christian you seem to be. I guess non-judgmentalism and forgiveness is only for people with whom you agree with.....besides.... if you had your way, obviously it wouldn't be the case.

I, on the other hand don't want a gun ban....just practical regulation. If you're worried about cost....I propose that anyone seeking military spec weapons should have to pay for and maintain an enhanced licence.... and part of the qualifications to even ATTAIN that license would be to submit to psychological testing. If you pass, you get to own any center fire weapon you want....even fully automatic ones.

Interesting. If someone gave me a word association test using "knife", the answer would be butter, grille, fruit or oyster. But that's just me.
as with all history, weapons were considered a priority. so where you now look at a knife used for food, it's the bastard stepchild of a sword that came first.

that would be nothing more than an ipso facto negation of the 2nd Amendment.
