Funny enough, I am a dealer. And no, I would not knowingly sell to criminals and blah blah blah. That's against the law. But registration doesn't do anything to prevent that. It costs billions (if not trillions), leads to no crime being solved, infringes on privacy rights, and has been used as the basis for confiscation in our own country. No, hell no, and mother fucking no.

Confiscation? OK...right there I can see who I am dealing with. Where do you see ANYONE calling for a repeal of the 2nd amendment? I can wait....I'm hourly too.

Privacy rights? Let's see....Conservatives can invade people's bedrooms and the reproductive organs of women....but registering a firearm is an invasion of privacy? Double standard?

You should probably look at the bills passed in NY and CO, as well as proposed in CA, NJ, and MA. Plus, yes, it has happened in the past (NY in 99 and CA in 91).

But enough obfuscation. Registration has been shown to do nothing but cost money and infringe upon the rights of law abiding people. Why do you think the Canadians dropped it? (It cost them $2,000,000,000 a year by the way).

What if those lawful citizens with ZERO criminal records are barely controlled homicidal maniacs just waiting for a good enough reason to pop?

As far as the rest of your post? What a kind Christian you seem to be. I guess non-judgmentalism and forgiveness is only for people with whom you agree with.....besides.... if you had your way, obviously it wouldn't be the case.

I, on the other hand don't want a gun ban....just practical regulation. If you're worried about cost....I propose that anyone seeking military spec weapons should have to pay for and maintain an enhanced licence.... and part of the qualifications to even ATTAIN that license would be to submit to psychological testing. If you pass, you get to own any center fire weapon you want....even fully automatic ones.
