Not at all. While I would defend my property and family (as would any rational individual), that's a very short sighted goal. Survival, assuming the complete end of society, would require a formation of a larger cohesive unit. That means diplomacy. But considered? I suppose the thought has crossed my mind, but in the same instance and occurrence, I've wondered what it'd be like to be a woman. That doesn't mean I'm putting a down payment on sex change.

I was relating earlier to a friend, after reading this story, when I use to go to firing ranges with my step dad, how many friggin idiots I would see, quite routinely...treating their loaded fucking weapons like toys. WOO-HOO!!! I think the actual fear from hardcore gun owners is that if they tightened up mental health screenings...half these dumb asses wouldn't qualify.

The number of people defending this douche canoe is astounding. "They don't know if he would have done anything or not!" I think you're missing the point there Sherlocke. Whether he would have acted or not...he had the means to back up his threat, many times over, no matter how full of hot air he was. So yea, excuse us if someone took this jackass seriously.

The fact that someone that immature, who talked out of his asshole, owned 20 firearms, including assault rifles and talked the shit he talked, should actually bother the fuck out of you...as it doesn't really represent what you keep espousing as "responsible gun owners." You should pile on this piece of shit as the exact OPPOSITE of what you want represented about gun owners...instead of circling the wagons around him.
