Aurora Copycat Shooter Arrested

Comments on the two bold portions:

I had a cop tell me once that the sound of racking the action on a pump shotgun has stopped more fights (gun and otherwise), settle more hostile actions, and caused more perps to surrender than anything he has ever used in his career. I thought it was rather funny.

I do not doubt it... It's something that affects the 'primitive' side of us.. we know the sound and know what it's attached to..The immediate reaction to the sound is Pavlovian .

Rule #4 is the best! LMAO at that one.
:D

I wasn't addressing *all* gun owners; I was addressing Billy specifically, but STY fits the bill as well. My opinion offends them. Them's the breaks. We differ on ideals and approaches; such is the nature of a diverse forum.

but of course..

hopefully I gave you another side to consider.. That's all. :)

i don't have a problem with someone who drinks responsibly....however, i do have a problem if they are drunk and get behind the wheel

this will likely be over bijou and howey's head though....

bijou keeps running from this....so does that mean she finally conceded she was wrong and has no idea what she is talking about?

sweet.....bijou ran away in shame from this

good call...anymore nonsense and it would only have made you look worse

I don't care who you are, when you hear that 'pump', your ass is going to pucker and get you right the fuck out of my house without me even having to shoot ya..

Not necessarily. It will indicate several things to a intruder. A) that you are awake B) that you are armed C) that you are aware of his/her presence and D) it will give him/her a general idea of your location. A burglar it may scare off, but if it is someone who is determined to harm you, you hinder yourself. Which is why I keep my current name sake by my bed side, in condition 1.
