You clearly aren't very familiar with our country's health system if you think we have anything close to a free market. We don't have one now and we didn't have one before Obamacare. So may not agree with the health care recommendations free marketers make, but you are flat out misinformed or just lying if you think the U.S. has a free market in health care.

I've known a number of posters on this board for years. I've exchanged (regular) pictures with them etc. For better or worse I'm an open book. I've shared when I've been laid off twice for example. So I don't lie about where I live or went to school. SF gets called a lot of things but I've never heard it called a backwards redneck shithole. That's a first. US News & World Report is the go to rankings for Universities. USC is ranked #21. Feel free to share where UCF is ranked.

There hasn't been "true" or pure free market capitalism in this country for over a century in any industry. Why? Because we saw early on the ills and evils of allowing greed to run rampant and trump the good of society, so regulations were put in place. But we are still a mostly profit driven, capitalist system and that is why health care costs are out of sight.

You can deflect and make up all the phony excuses you want, it doesn't change anything.

Representatives of the Teacher's Union, Democrats, always say "we support the schools". As Republicans, we recognize that schools are just buildings and bureaucracies, and what we support are kid's education.
