The reasons given in the article are lack of a decent federal minimum wage, multiple recessions from mismanaged government fiscal policies, laws that let the rich get richer off the backs of the middle class and the poor.

Well, that is a poorly worded statement. Baby Boomers were born after WWII, which in turn was after the Great Depression. That means no Baby Boomers existed during the Great Depression, so they became homeless at a rate of zero.

Random side note, Biden ties for having gone to the most funerals of victims of the East Palestine train crash of anyone in the world.

Given that Earl threadbans 1/2 of the board, I put him on ignore.

When I did used to chuckle at this threads, he did indeed read the headline only and rush to post yet another embarrassing claim.

Proof, IMO, that Earl's mind isn't what it used to be when he was an Air Force Captain and Air Traffic Controller. He refuses to say what happened, but I suspect accident (TBI), disease or adult-onset mental illness. His thinker is clearly broken.

Mr. Tiny Penis, the statements you referenced are interesting.

1. The federal minimum wage has nothing to do with helping boomers. Most of them have retired and any attempts from the fed to raise minimum wage only contribute to their financial plight due to the increased inflation that always goes with higher wages.

2. Glad they recognized how badly the FEDs have destroyed the free market.

3. Tax laws become somewhat irrelevant. The lefties always go back to days when the tax rate was 70%, and conveniently forget to mention the allowable deductions that came with that oppressive rate. My accountant told me last filing season that they have not seen many people paying a lower percentage of actual taxes and that excludes all the new increases in State, local, and city sales taxes.
I refuse to get into a tax discussion with anybody here because I am not qualified but I will take the word of a large CPA firm in my area.
