He obviously struggles with the issue, like Jefferson struggled with slavery. He probably realized that his personal beliefs can not be used against others that he represents, he said his daughters helped him in his evolution.

On taxes, not sure he did flip flop. I believe it is called compromise.

I don't really care WHAT he calls it......he flipped.......he supported extending the rates and he said it plain and loud and publicly...as a matter of fact,
he supported just about everything Bush did in the end.
