I don't think the american people would have supported a war, in which the objectinve entailed sending our troops in to look for WMD, arresting Saddam, and then hightailing it out of there in short order - leaving some bathist thugs in charge.

We might as well have just left the inspectors in there, to deal with the WMD.

I didn't insist anything other than we did go in there with the intention to break up Saddams government.

Which goal, there has been about 1/2 dozen, they just keep evolving.

Hence the reason I specifically stated "If I could get a Declaration, otherwise we would not enter."

No, in my post I stated that it would not be a goal to end the government had it been me in that office....

Then you post that it was the goal, then I point out not in what I said, then you say...
