That is correct. In many states, requesting an absentee ballot requires a specific reason, and Republicans are already saying that fear of Covid is not a valid reason. Because they want to do everything they can to suppress the vote.

Voter fraud can happen regardless of how voting is done. Hell, Trump technically committed voter fraud recently when he claimed his residence as Mar-a-Lago in Florida, even though he resides in the White House. (Even though it was probably a mistake, he won't get prosecuted, unlike so many people who go to prison for making similar silly mistakes on their voter registration.)

It is, actually. I retired at 58, have (just about, I may pick up another gun or two) all the toys I need to keep me busy and content. Life is pretty good, but I busted ass in my younger days to be able to get to this point.

Many people "bust their ass" but not everyone receives such rewards. The thing about the higher classes is that they offer rewards that lower classes don't, and it's much harder to move from a lower to a higher class. "The American Dream" has always been bullshit unless you're a WASP who's at least middle class.

But you should know this. It's difficult to move from middle class to upper middle class, and it's much more difficult to move from poverty to lower class. It's damn near impossible to advance into the upper class for anyone who isn't already upper middle class.
