BAIN AGAIN

I'm sure we all can see the irony in Gingrich saying someone else has too much baggage to be the nominee. And Santorum was not a good candidate. That by itself doesn't make Romney a good candidate but when compared to those two...

And Gingrich going after the private equity industry like that? Come on now.
And I agree with your comment about seeds often being planted against a candidate by one in their own party.

It was insensitive to VC-Americans I agree. I am not surprised to find Gingrich engaged in such tactics. I am surprised to find Obama willing to bash minorities like this, but that politics Cawacko.

Given every other Obama ad on Bain has lied about what really happened, it stands to reason this one does as well.

It's actually not an ad, but a film about the 4 companies they previously focused on debunked by factcheck...

They haven't changed an iota of their attack regardless of the truth.

You can tell Damo is in politics in some manner because of how he manages to write this post and never mention this was a Repuke ad. LOL

Anyway Damo, any debunking was based on Mitt's claim that he resigned in 1999...and that is no longer operative. I personally reject the fact that it ever was, as if once you step down anything the company does has no bearing on you even though you created it. I mean, that was always a joke.

But ever since the whole "retroactively resigned" "no comment" debacle, it's a more obvious one.

VC-Americans? what's that?

Venture Capitalists. A lot of people are in the midst of attempting to elect our first VC President.

Eh, he's still private equity. Yes Bain has a venture capital arm but what we see in that Gingrich ad has nothing to do with venture capital. That's old school LBO's all the way.

because of course, Gingrich is the only one to ever mention Bain politically.......I think Damo's statement still stands as an indictment of Democrats.....

Does it? Both Gingrich and Santorim said that Romney had too much baggage to be the nominee.

When all is said and done it may turn out they were right.

Anyway, usually the negative campaigns that are run by the opposing party in a presidential election can be found to have been seeded by the opponents own party in the primary. Historically speaking. It's just how it goes.

Obviously Darla is a closet Gingrich fan.

These ads were all over the place and I said many times on this board that if Obama had put them out we'd never hear the end of it and his "Chicago style thug politics' from the righties here. I was right. :)

They were not all over this board... and that is the only way I am typically going to see them. I don't have cable/satellite and I don't watch local tv either. Football and college basketball are all I watch any more.
