Actually, it is being reported that Saban did bring a/c units. Apparently the a/c has been out in the visiting teams locker room since before the Rice game.

#2 may be correct though.

According to a couple of the responses on Twitter, the a/c in the visiting team's locker room has been out since before the Rice game. But that is only Twitter.
