Bernie wins New Hampshire!

I thought I've made that known since I got here. I'm for Bernie.

I was leaning toward Warren in 2019, but Bernie's scale and breadth of donor base, volunteers, and support among working class people and POC are what tips me toward Sanders now.

But I'd be totally OK with Warren as the nominee too. After what she did to Bloomberg last night, I think Trump would be too scared to debate her.

Bernie is the worst choice

when he knew Hilary was going to win MORE electors than him last go round he wanted the Democratic convention to broker the choice

Now when he thinks hes going to have the most because the votes are split a million ways he wants it to be mere "who has the MOST"

even though the rules are SET

if NO ONE gets a certain amount its a brokered convention

he cant get to that number even if he has the most in the end

His shit is obvious

he cant win because of his socialist name insistence

he hates the democratic party and trashes all the time

he only registers with my party when he wants to run for president and when he loses he Immediately leave the party

Trump wants him to be the pick

Bernie is the worst choice

Bernie has the largest donor base, the largest volunteer base, the most support among young voters, the most support among all minority groups, and has the highest favorable rating of any of the candidates running.

So why would he be the worst choice when he's bringing non-voters to the polls, while almost all the other candidates aren't?

when he knew Hilary was going to win MORE electors than him last go round he wanted the Democratic convention to broker the choice

Why shouldn't they go through that process? Or maybe, just maybe, we should not even bother with these stupid rules and instead just nominate the candidate who got the most votes?

So I find this argument not very convincing given everyone's shared hatred of the Electoral College which disenfranchises voters, which is the exact opposite thing we should be doing.

So I don't like the argument that the convention should be brokered, and the decision to choose the nominee is left to an unaccountable group of "electors" instead of gross vote totals.

It really rings fucking hollow when we're also saying we should abolish the electoral college, which does almost the exact same thing.

If a label is what you're basing your argument on, I think you need to go back to the drawing board.

Besides, that poll that showed people don't like socialism also showed Sanders winning.

he hates the democratic party and trashes all the time

I'm not sure how you can look at the electoral losses the Democratic Party suffered from 2009-2016, the embarrassment that was the process of selecting the nominee in 2016, the embarrassment that was the way the Iowa caucus was run this year, the embarrassment that despite M4A being a part of the platform the establish candidates won't back it, the persistence of dark money, billionaires, and Super PACs that influence pundits, and not think that party needs to be burned to the fucking ground and rebuilt to represent the working class.

Do you think the Democratic Party is just fine? Just A-OK? That there's no institutional problems in it? That it's perfect? That it adequately represents the working class?

Cuz I don't.

Drumpf wants him to be the pick

Donald Trump is a fucking idiot who is in over his head.

Bernie would carve him up.

and the right will make a this into Sanders death knell

I don't care about the label

but I also don't pretend its about ONLY what I think of the label

You see

everyone votes not just me

The rights cheating helpers like Russia and others now because we did nothing to stop them ( thank the republican party) will be in full force

WE ARE GOING TO NEED EVERY AMERICAN VOTE WE CAN FIND

Bernie wont be able to get them ( even if he has the Democratic nod)

Yea, I'm ok with Warren too. I wasn't happy about that controversy between her and bernie a month ago, but last night made up for it.

They are going to call anyone the Democrats nominate a socialist.

Just like they did to Obama.

Just like they did to Clinton.

Just like they do to Buttigieg, Warren, Klobuchar, Biden.

They are going to call whoever the D nominee is, a socialist or communist or worse.

We have to stop caring about what those people think because we don't give a shit about them. We should care what the 95 million people who didn't vote in 2016 think, and I am willing to bet that the reason they didn't vote in 2016 was because they had nothing to vote for, nothing that excited them, nothing that got them enthusiastic.

You're never, ever, ever going to increase voter enthusiasm by embracing "moderation".

Moderation by definition is not enthusiasm or excitement.

And we went along with your moderate candidates in 2016, 2014, and 2010...and we lost the WH in 2016, the Senate in 2014, and the House in 2010.

You need to spur turnout, and you don't spur turnout by ignoring the largest donor base and the most diverse support. You let them lead, and you follow, just like we let y'all lead and we followed in 2016.

It's your turn to suck it up and vote blue no matter who. We did things your way throughout the 2010's and it didn't work. So if it doesn't work, why continue doing it?

Would you vote for Sanders if he's the nominee?

Lookit you'n-me agreein' on shee-it 'n you kickin' dat bitch's ass!!!!

You see everyone votes not just me

Ah, but not everyone votes!

That's the point.

95 million people didn't vote in 2016.

If you want to have any hope of beating Trump, you're going to have to convince some of those 95 million non-voters to vote, and do you think it would be easier to get them to vote for moderation or get them to vote for something that truly excites them, that can help them, that is wildly popular?

No other Democrat nominee has CALLED THEMSELVES a socialist, dim-bulb.

They are going to use that to pound on BS with that like a hammer.

I'm still waiting for the so called moderate (Republican-lite) who inspires this kind of energy.
