Mitt Romney's Crazy Religious Beliefs!

What Does Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney Really Believe?

  • He believes that Jesus Christ is Satan's brother.
  • He believes that God lives near a planet called "Kolob."
  • He believes in baptizing dead people.
  • He believes that Jesus is married to a goddess wife.
  • He believes that The Garden of Eden was in Missouri.
  • He believes that it was impossible for Negroes to go to Heaven before 1978.
  • He believes that Jesus has children from his wife or wives.
  • He believes that he is going to become a god.
  • He believes he will own his own personal planet after he dies.
  • He believes the real Christian God is not eternal but rather that He was once a man on some other planet besides Earth!
  • He believes he needs to wear magical underwear created by Mormons and he is never to take it off unless he is bathing.
  • He believes it is a sin to drink anything containing caffeine. And that even includes True American™ drinks like Coca-Cola!
  • He believes children between the ages of 18-21 should wear name badges, ride bicycles and always smile.

Good ole tolerance huh? It shouldn't matter if Obama is a Muslim or a Christian, but god save us from a Mormon.

LOL. Kenneth is thinking it will be enough to beat him and getting excited. Spread all the bigotry you can muster, Kenneth, it still doesn't help Obama look like a leader.

It shouldn't matter at all what religion a presidential candidate is.

Until that candidate starts combining his campaign and policies with his religion.

Then there's a problem and in Romney's case, it's a big problem.

BTW - Most Mormons do not wear the underwear... only those who go through the Endowment Ceremony wear them, and not even all of them do so...

Catholics also baptize people after death... In fact in the past they've used it as a way to get money.

Going on missions isn't "mysterious" or a belief strange to any religion. Those who are proselytizing wear name tags and dress nicely, it makes them easy to avoid... sometimes they ride bikes, other times they walk. When I was a volunteer firefighter we had one that spent his mission year helping out at the firehouse, didn't ride a bike, and didn't wear a name tag... I do not believe that women do any of these, but I could be wrong.

Some of the stuff he posted is part of their religion, but I don't find them any more unrealistic than talking bushes who demand you go shoeless in their presence and tell you to go and insult Pharaohs... Or magic boxes that kill by touch that can't be found anywhere on the planet.

Are Mormons Christian???

LOL. Kenneth is thinking it will be enough to beat him and getting excited. Spread all the bigotry you can muster, Kenneth, it still doesn't help Obama look like a leader.

I'm only the messenger, like the mailman! Real christian's might want to know more about this religious cult?

Right, any excuse in a pinch. Let's say there were some dude that went to racially bigoted sites and posted links from them. Would you accept that the dude was just the "messenger" or would you rightly say they are a bigot?

I would like for you explain how it is that so many "devout Mormons" seemed to have no problem ploughing money into gambling, hotels, prostitution and involvement with the Mafia in places like Las Vegas?

What are so many non-galavanting Mormons doing living in Las Vegas? Dude, they built the place.
When Las Vegas sprang to life 100 years ago, Mormon settlers were leaders in politics and business. As legal gambling emerged as the driving force of the Las Vegas economy, local Mormon bankers were major players in funding the construction of the casinos.
Jimmy Hoffa and Howard Hughes, two of this city's greatest pioneers, leaned heavily on Mormons -- Hoffa for cash and Hughes for his personal support staff.
And it's not only Mormon money that has helped build Las Vegas. Mormon piety has been good for the city, too. Because at least 10 percent of the local population doesn't drink, gamble or gambol, the non-Mormons have taken it upon themselves to work extra hard to take up the slack.
Besides, when you think about it, Mormons are gamblers at heart. If the church's only-us-in-heaven belief turns out to be erroneous, Mormons face an eternity of good-natured joshing.

Bias against a Mormon presidential candidate hasn’t budged in 45 years, with 18% of Americans saying they would not vote for a well-qualified candidate who happened to be Mormon, according to a Gallup Poll released Thursday.

probably won't matter much.....I'm sure there were at least 18% of Americans who said they wouldn't vote for a well-qualified candidate who happened to be black, yet Obama got elected.....shucks, he wasn't even well-qualified and he got elected......
