Save your made up fantasies. You clearly know NOTHING about drug addiction.
And despite urban legends, I can't just shop around for a doctor to prescribe Oxycodone....not a the basic exam prices I can't. And no, the majority of insurance companies won't cover numerous visits to various doctors for dubious symptoms.
Your "logic" is severely flawed, as "fentanyl addicts" occur from the illegal use of drugs...and the majority of Americans are not illegal drug users.
And if you think your stats won't increase with legitimacy, you're being naive. But remember not to confuse people who become addicted to prescription drugs from original legitimate medical conditions/injuries with the person just using dubious methods to obtain drugs for pure recreational purposes.
First, even on the street, Oxycontin is light years cheaper than crack at about $1 per mg.

You take one 30mg a day (Yes, lots of addicts take more. But 30mg is still A LOT). That is $900 a month. That is continual use. ALL off the street.
BTW - if you used crack 12 hours a day, every day it would cost - in America - at least 20-25 times more.
The average take home pay in Mississippi is $37K.
That is just over $3,000 a month.

So yes, an average American with a job can easily afford to be an Oxycontin addict.
Even just buying off the street.
Period.
Second, your 'fentanyl addicts are only using street drugs' nonsense?
Proves how you have not a FUCKING CLUE what you are talking about on this.

And I could link to LOTS more stories like his.
Third.
Your last sentence makes NO SENSE.
I am sick of wasting time on you.
You clearly know DICK all about drug addiction.
And clearly are just making shit up as you go.
You are probably just another boomer who knows shit about addiction.
And has nothing but stereotypes on your mind from some tv show/movie you saw.
BTW - Breaking Bad is NOT realistic.
We are done here.
Good night gramps.
