President Biden and his administration were largely absent from the onerous negotiations on government funding that gripped Capitol Hill this week.

Instead, President-elect Trump and his allies were the ones wrestling with lawmakers over a continuing resolution as a government shutdown appeared increasingly inevitable.
The White House on Friday blew off a host of questioning over Biden’s absence from the talks, insisting they were staying out of it in part because it was Republicans who had to clean up a “mess” they created. But, Biden’s silence, with no indication that administration officials were heading to Capitol Hill as the funding deadline approached, could prove damaging to the president’s final days in office.

Heck there are CEOS of large companies that have come out and said as soon as they are sure Trump is going to put his tariffs on they will be increasing their prices across the board , increasing prices BEFORE Trump puts his tariffs on, and increasing their profits.
CEOs of big oil have come out and said a 20% increase could raise the price of gas and fuel a dollar a gallon, that is only a 20% tariff, if it is higher then that it will drive gas up even higher, and those costs to the shipping industry will be passed on to the consumer.
YES YOU are ANTI AMERICAN/ AMERICA.

Tariffs are nothing more than a smoke screen. While everyone clutches their pearls over trump's lies about tariffs, he's busy stealing top secret documents to be sold to the highest bidder. (Does ANYONE know why Saudi Arabia gave Jarod $2 billion?).

He's taking tens of millions of dollars from foreign actors in exchange for foreign policy. He's actually trying to get the lease back on the D.C hotel he gave up the day after he left office. That was one of the biggest money laundering operations for numerous foreign actors.

trump's incompetence re. the economy is the least of this nation's worries.

If a foreign nation that imports goods into the country has to pay the higher tariffs, and prices their goods accordingly, who is forcing you to pay that higher price?

If tariffs cause an increase in the price of imports, isn't it likely that Americans will stop buying those products and buy those made in America?
