Normal Presidents without Braindead's mental decline would fight to include things that mattered to them, even lame duck Presidents. However these probably weren't one of Braindead's "good days", which are coming fewer and further between, his mental decline is immediate, obvious, and is the reason he's down at 38% approval even though he's an exiting President. (For those who do not know, most exiting Presidents enjoy a rise in approval as the incoming President becomes the center of scrutiny).

No doubt Biden's cognitive abilities are in decline, but I doubt that's the plan. This is the second time Team Crazy has tubed a bibartisan bill.

When a child keeps trying to touch a hot stove, a mother can keep saying "No, Billy, it's hot! You'll burn yourself." When the child keeps trying to touch it, at some point the mother needs to step back, have the burn cream and Band-Aid ready then let it play out.

IMO, that's what the Democrats, not just Biden, are doing on the political level. America voted, Trump and his oligarchs have made claims (often lies) and, after years of fighting MAGA morons, they've decided to step back and let it play out.

Exactly. IMO, that's exactly what will happen. The Republicans are fighting amongst themselves now and they aren't even in full control yet.

In the long run, Team Crazy risks having all of this blow up in their faces when their claims meet reality. I expect most of this will be worked out by Spring with the Oligarch Bromance ending, Trump breaking most of his campaign promises yet both declaring victory and blaming the Democrats for any shortfalls and with the Republican Congress in a deadlock until the Midterms.

They were already in place and at the time he took over he was busy trying to fix the mess Trump caused with the COVID , with all his LIES , misinformation, conflicting info, contradicting info , and we went on with them in place and got use to them, MAYBE it WAS those Tariffs TRUMP put in place that caused prices to go up and NOT inflation.

He has accomplished more being brain dead than any Republican that had been elected since Reagan. He will take his place in history in the top 20 Presidents. Not bad for a brain dead guy.
