Biden has revived democratic capitalism – and changed the economic paradigm

Unlike his Democratic predecessors, Biden has not sought to reduce trade barriers. In fact, he has retained several from the Trump administration. But unlike Trump, he has not given a huge tax cut to corporations and the wealthy. It’s also worth noting that in contrast with every president since Reagan, Biden has not filled his White House with former Wall Street executives. Not one of his economic advisers – not even his treasury secretary – is from the Street.

"The Great Crash of 1929 followed by the Great Depression taught the nation a crucial lesson that we forgot after Ronald Reagan’s presidency: the so-called “free market” does not exist. Markets are always and inevitably human creations. They reflect decisions by judges, legislators and government agencies as to how the market should be organized and enforced – and for whom."

Biden's frequently been underestimated, going back at least to the time teabaggers were cackling with laughter about how wunderkind Paul Ryan was supposedly going to mop the floor with Biden at the vice presidental debate.

Still, media is doing polls about Biden not being popular. You know, the media that helped Trump get elected.

What is "democratic capitalism"?

Democrats despise capitalism. Fake News.

It seems patently obvious that you have no idea what constitutes a "trade barrier."

In fact, he has retained several from the Trump administration.
Trump installed no trade barriers, which is why you can't give any examples. You also have the Executive Branch confused with he Legislative branch. You also have no grasp of economics. What possessed you to pretend you had anything to contribute on this topic?

But unlike Trump, he has not given a huge tax cut to corporations and the wealthy.
Again, you don't even know the difference between the Executive branch and the Legislative branch.

What's wrong with giving people a tax break? What's wrong with people becoming successful at adding value to society? Why demonize them as though they should somehow be punished for improving people's lives? You are one screwed up Marxist.

It’s also worth noting that in contrast with every president since Reagan, Biden has not filled his White House with [economics experts]. Not one of his economic advisers – not even his treasury secretary – [has any sort of practical economics background].
Why is this somehow a good thing? This is very bad.

The free market is immortal. You can't kill it. See your local drug dealer for details.
Fascism is not a free market.

The Great Depression was caused by Democrats.
The '29 crash would've self corrected within a year or two.
Instead Democrats decided to interfere, keeping the economy depressed until the 50's.

It was also during this time that FDR stole the gold and silver and issued fiat 'funny money' in it's stead.

Get lost you stupid troll.

COVID Martial Law was used to destroy free enterprise when there was no public safety justification for the Martial Law....I mean come on people....WAKE UP!

I did not have a lot of hope for Biden, I just thought he would get us out of the Trump mess. He has really exceeded my expectations relating to the economy. He has really restored some serious problems. We are no longer pumping cash in, and seem to have found a soft landing.

Now, if he would just have Trump arrested.

the so-called “free market” does not exist.
Wishful thinking from a loser Marxist troll.

Markets are always and inevitably human creations. They reflect decisions by judges, legislators and government agencies as to how the market should be organized and enforced – and for whom."
Hey troll, what legislators' and judges' decisions are reflected in my son wrapping someone's car?

Didn't you ever learn anything? Wait, that was a stupid question. If you had, you wouldn't be such a mindless troll.
