Biden quietly admits Keystone XL cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars

Even the Washington Post admitted it is far safer to transport oil by pipelines.

The safest way to transport oil - The Washington Post

"... This is crazy. Oil pipelines are far safer and many times more efficient than shipping oil by rail. Even less-safe modes — truck or barge*..."

"Biden quietly admits Keystone XL cost thousands of jobs, billions of dollars."

He intentionally harmed millions of Americans.

He then had to ask, on his knees, for S.A. to release more oil and for Venezuela to sell us oil.

Foreign policy decision ...https://www.washingtontimes.com › news › aug › biden...
Aug 16, 2021 — Biden has been wrong on every major foreign policy decision in last 4 decades. Lessons never learned and now Afghanistan.

His domestic policy decisions have been wrong, too. The out of control inflation, borders and crime are the result of his wrong policy decisions.

The NYT keeps telling us that war spreads democracy. Most here stateside us it recycled to wipe our ass. The leak happened last month real close to an aquifer. Don't try to bullshit a bullshitter.

Read the article and find out why there is minimal danger to the aquifer.

Does your bullshitting tendency recognise that the leak was cleaned up inside 3 weeks and the pipeline returned to service.

I was a radiologist on the Keystone XL. I saw the problems with constantly expanding and contracting of metal. My job was required by law but I had no say in what was going on. I can tell you for fact that there is no way to prevent leaks.

There are contrarians and there are contrarians.

Attributions and multiple links provided.

Most honest folks, after seeing link after link showing that transporting oil by pipeline is the safest way to do so, would stand down and admit they are wrong.

Why do you not support securing our border from illegals and drug traffickers?

Thanks.

I do support Border Security!

And I also agree that there is a crisis at the border. And I also agree that, up to this past Weekend, Biden has not addressed the border crisis with the same intensity that he has addressed the Ukraine War efforts.

So I am sitting here eating my popcorn, like everybody else, on how Biden is going to handle it moving forward.

But, as of now, not much has changed from Trump to Biden, in terms as to how we are dealing with it, because of Title 42 still being in place,

With the exception of perhaps one thing, and that is the ever looming larger influx of people building up in Mexico across the Border, trying to come in, and many are finding ways to slip through and stressing out the resources that the Border towns have in dealing with it.

So, yes, I'm just like everybody else, "Hey Mr. President, What are we going to do about the crisis"?

Our current Immigration policy is out of date. it allows the United States to process up to 30,000 refugees a month (THAT IS TOO MANY NOW!) of foreigners to apply for refugee status- AND THOSE FIGURES would be overwhelming our Budget anyway, even if we were able to be processing them, BUT WE ARE NOT, and Title 42 is the only weapon we have to totally stop processing of any immigrants- so it's like we have an artery bleeding, and we tried to put a band-aid on it with Title 42.

SO, WHAT IS CONGRESS, doing about the border crisis, and creating a new Immigration policy now that the population in South America now seemingly want to come here as refugees fleeing their country?

WHY ARE WE LEAVING THIS UP TO THE PRESIDENT ANYWAY? THIS IS A PROBLEM FOR CONGRESS! All a president can do is put temporary policies in place. AND THE PROBLEM IS NOT A TEMPORARY PROBLEM.

Although the number of illegals has risen sharply since Trump left office, Trump's problem was the Democrats.
Remember the laughing insults when he wanted to build a wall where the border patrol said it would be helpful?

This jobs lie is the Trumpian attempt to blame Biden for jobs that would not have existed. https://www.politifact.com/factchec...ystone-pipeline-did-cost-jobs-most-were-temp/ The bulk of jobs were temporary and permanent would have been about 50. This information was out when the pipeline started. Now it is thousands of jobs. Next year, it will be millions.

Many temporary jobs would have gone to the Pipefitters Union. Some others to smaller private contractors.

I do not mind discussing any issues, so long as we keep politics out of it, and just deal with ideas on what we think needs to be done to help resolve problems.

Finger pointing never resolves problems, it just makes matters worse! [Geeko Sportivo]

The Dems had total control of the House the Senate and the White House and they didn't introduce a single bill to improve control of our border. I agree it is something Congress could fix but maybe we should just try to enforce our current laws until they do. If you want to know how serious Biden is about fixing the situation just remember that he tore down Arizona's temporary wall last week.

Please! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Ok. First prerequisite is to speak English. Second is no entry until after hearing. How's that for starters?

Umm excuse me? I thought for sure the Democrats held control of the House the Senate (with the VP) and the White House. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
