Blame Merkel for the Energiewende and appeasing the Green imbeciles. Hopefully they are finally learning a painful lesson, if they have any sense they'll stop the nuclear shutdown and immediately start fracking.

We already have. She lives in the Crimea area which isn’t under attack as of our last communication with her. We have let her know if things spin out of control and she needs help getting out of there not to hesitate to contact us. I’m also reading up on what would be required to bring her over to the US under refugee status.
 
I mean, you can only imagine if a dictator took this kind of action & a Democrat called him a genius, or coddled up to him like Trump does.

Remember when conservatives were always saying leaders like Obama wanted to sing "Kum Ba Yah" with our enemies and all that?

The GOP is a depraved party now. Nothing of value, and no real principles. It's a cult.

No but Putin is at his furthest plausible extent with the Ukraine. Belarus would just let Russia walk in if pressed. That leaves Finland as the only non-NATO nation bordering Russia in which the could attempt their current excuse to invade. NATO would certainly send troops to Finland.

The most likely to be Putin’s next victim would be the Baltic States. They are NATO members.

So if Putin attempts this with either the Baltic States he is risking a World War with unforeseen consequences other than large scale blood shed.

These are scary times but Russia and China would be massive fools or completely insane to underestimate the US and NATO.

NATO will not risk a World War over the Ukraine due to previous treaty agreements (which mean little to Putin) and the Ukraine and Russias shared history.

Whether the Ukraine remains an independent State or a Satellite State like Belorus will be up to the Ukrainians who don’t know how much material support they can count on from NATO.

Well, we'll see. IMO Putin has always had beady eyes, yes, but I was watching him on tv this morning, and I'm sorry but he's got the crazy eyes now. I wonder if he has brain cancer or something. Something is very, very wrong here.

Who knows. Many Kings, and Emperors and Rulers have initiated whole sale slaughter in the past to age related mental health issues.

It happened to Gauis Marius the ancient Roman General and Consul. Marius had been a great General and Consul when younger and had saved Rome from a massive Barbadian invasion. His accomplishments were so important he was named the third founder of Rome. Yet in his 70’s he went completely mad and whole sale slaughter occurred.

There was the sedition on January 6. And Republicans cheered when Trump begged the KGB on national television to hack the computers of the Democratic Party.
