I do not believe that story. Biden is not petty like that. He is returning to how the Whitehouse was before Trump befouled it.

author Chris Whipple wrote that Biden would "let loose" on Trump when showing special guests around his official residence, per the New York Post.

On one occasion, Biden became irate and started to curse after coming across Trump's big-screen TV and golf simulator in a room above the Oval Office, said the book, according to the newspaper.

"'What a fucking asshole," Biden said, per the New York Post's reporting on Whipple's upcoming book. The Post received a pre-release copy of "The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden's White House."

The Washington Post reported in 2019 that Trump installed a room-sized golf simulator at the White House that allowed the former president to hit a ball into a large video screen. It cost approximately $50,000 to install, the newspaper said, citing a former White House official.

According to Whipple, it wasn't only the golf simulator that aggravated Biden and reminded him of his predecessor. The president also requested that the Resolute desk in the Oval Office be removed as it was a "ubiquitous" reminder of Trump, the book said, per the Post.

Paraphrasing, but yes. Jr. said that.

It seems it was before trump found a sucker to be VP.. I thought it was after the election. I believe the story came out after the win.

Most damning: Trump Jr. reportedly said the potential V.P. would be charged with foreign and domestic policy, while Trump would use his presidential prowess to focus solely on “Making America Great Again.” If true, the development all but confirms the persistent suspicion that Trump wants to be president without actually having to carry out the messy duties incumbent to being commander in chief.
