"Change minds" about what?Really?
Weather he was or wasn't, he hired a lot of black people in his administration, with those hires, they become influence makers on policy.
No white person is going to change black peoples minds, that's going to come from black people themselves.
"Change minds" about what?
How do "they" feel? If Al and Jesse haven't changed minds so far, how will a less "influential" African American appointee get make a difference?IDK, the way they feel about the white menace, keeping them down.
See Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

You brought it up... but it sounds like your "black neighbors don't feel the need to "change their minds"... So you were just babbling about the need for Joe to appoint black cabinet members? When he should have just picked the best person for the job....How in the hell would I know?
I have two black neighbors, we are just that, neighbors, they borrow stuff bring it back, I borrow stuff and return it, maybe a BBQ, damned sure don't talk politics.
They can be influential by giving opinions on policy, like I stated before,

Give an example of one of the policies you're referring to, though....if you would....

So, you shouldn't have mentioned it to begin with, because you're unable to discuss it....thanks....You brought it up... but it sounds like your "black neighbors don't feel the need to "change their minds".
Likely haven't I wouldn't know, don't talk about it, I'm nice to them, they are nice to me.
"So you were just babbling about the need for Joe to appoint black cabinet members"?
Never stated that, just a fact.
"When he should have just picked the best person for the job"....
Time will tell, they are experienced though, white or black, they are experienced.
"Give an example of one of the policies you're referring to, though....if you would"....
No, don't have the knowledge on black peoples policies or idea's they may want or change.
So, you shouldn't have mentioned it to begin with, because you're unable to discuss it....thanks....
Sorry...this makes no sense....I'm not racist...and I'm a retired teacher...your silly rant just goes downhill from there....If you ever want to have an actual discussion do let me knowyou are showing your goddamn racist tendencies, fake teacher. goddamn. why do you believe picking a high number of female and black and latino and muslim people for important jobs in his administration IS NOT THE SAME AS PICKING THE BEST PERSON? do you really think a white person is always the best pick, because of how white they are or some other bullshit racist perspective, you dumbass racist? do you really think mike pence is even close to being as intelligent and informed as Kamala Harris? why do you give that white boy a pass? or trump, he is white and look at how fucked up in every way he is...or Rick Perry, the dumbest clown from texas that trump could find....
You're welcomeimagine someone as stupid as you trying to criticize anybody else!! amazing.

That's not racist...he stated his goal was "diversity"....Kamala was chosen for her "identity"-he promised, after all...not because she was the best choice...She doesn't even like Joe, you know... she thinks he is a bigot/racist...which, he is....isn't he?what do you call this statement you made, the one to which I was responding, if not racist--
So you were just babbling about the need for Joe to appoint black cabinet members? When he should have just picked the best person for the job...
why would you automatically think someone hiring black people did not do so because he thought they were the best person for the job? do you see how racist your question is?
IDK, the way they feel about the white menace, keeping them down.
See Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
