Birthright Citizenship

since citizenship is created by law rather than protected by law, that would appear obvious......

This is what I hate about natural rights. People arbitrarily make up several rights and then pretend that anything not included in that arbitrary sets of rights is clearly not something that needs to be protected.
 
Citizenship is NOT a privilege. It is a right. That's why it's in the constitution. Birthright citizenship eventually integrates subclasses into the nation. That's why it's useful.

if citizenship is a right, why do we make people pass citizenship exams to become citizens?.....people are citizens because they meet the requirements set forth to become one....whether it's by birth or being sworn in......if you change the requirements their ability to become a citizen is altered.....that is not the description of a "right"......
