Americans are complicit in the genocide of brown people as we type yet they believe there's a place reserved for them in heaven.
 
There's a lot of irony in the Religion, Philosophy & Ethics section of this forum. The irony is that people are willing to waste (myself included) as much time debating the details of religion(s) as they are willing to waste time being religious, despite the fact that there is no more evidence for the Christian God than there is for Allah, Zeus any one of the thousands of other gods that man has believed in over the centuries. If religious people applied the same requirement for belief to their religion as they do anything else in their lives, religion would cease to exist. If man-made stories were enough to dedicate your life to something, we'd have millions of people out hunting for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow that was put there by leprechauns.
