FYI - this post of yours screams consciousness of guilt.

You are saying you don't want to be held to account for the sins of your ancestors, while benefiting off a system your ancestors designed.

So that implies you do feel some guilt...maybe not for your ancestors but certainly for your exploitation of the current system to your advantage.

What you choose to do with that guilt defines the person you are, that you put out there for everyone to see...and let me tell you, what you're putting out there ain't great.

What you should do is acknowledge your privilege and status, acknowledge you've had an easier time about it than others, and because you acknowledge it, can be included in the effort to reform it. But that requires effort and confrontation, two things lazy people tend to avoid.

I notice you made no attempt to defend her economics which is what my post was about. You could only bring up race which I did not mention.

You have no clue about empathy. I have seen my wife face more prejudice and discrimination in her lifetime than you'll ever know--from both white and black.

Can't agree more. The left has takin over public education, the media, and colleges. This way they can indoctrinate and silent any dissent.

And Helicopter Parenting , the determination that kids should not get a single scratch in life, was a colossally stupid idea, and everyone who decided to do it should have known better?

I read an interesting book by a Dr in sociology who talked about how post WW2 boys were sent to public schools and were raised by women. Prior to that they were mostly raised by men.

This feminized men, and they were taught by women how to treat women and deal with problems. This led to a lot of men not getting any sex or having many friends. This also led to women not interested in men, and helped created the feminist movements.

Women actually got angrier and angrier since men were less gentlemenly and chivalrous than before. Fast forward 70 years and you have insane millennial women yelling at black cops about how they are racist.

Camilla Paglia says the same thing...there was the world of men, and there was the world of women..... and she makes it a point that it was the old women who commanded the world of women then and not the young ones with beauty as it is now....and make no mistake.... this has most certainly not been an improvement in the lives of women that the wisdom of those who have lived a lot of life is ignored.
