The thing that drives me nut in Windows 8 is how do you send a "window" key if remote desktopped to a Win 8 machine. You have to put an app on the task bar beforehand if you want to open it in a remoted machine. REALLY ANNOYING!

I don't mind it apart from the fact that it slows down after time, even if you do defrags and clean up the registry.

You notice it if you have a variety of Linux distros on the same PC, they fire up in seconds and never get any slower.
