Boom: Trump eyes 10% spending cuts, 20% slash of federal workers

Don't care for the safety of your drugs, food, water and air much, do you, moron?

I care about all of those things very deeply. However, the government can't guarantee the safety of anything.

I have spring water at my mountain retreat that is the cleanest and freshest you have ever tasted. I hunt and grow much of my own food.

But you keep on with your false sense of security from the gobblement. I am sure you feel snug as a bug at night knowing these so called "public servants" are out there thinking about your "general welfare"

Hell I would cut 70% and start with Congressional staffers. I would cut all federal benefits for Congress. Why does the multi millionaire Nazi Pelousy need a taxpayer pension?

It's those that false into that false sense of security that nothing can go wrong as long as the government is there to protect them that get bit first. Maybe that's not such a bad thing with domer as long as the bite is severe enough.

One need look no further than New Orleans and Katrina to see evidence of your post

I believe everyone should have a one month supply of water and food for emergencies plus cash

One never knows when an emergency might arise and unless you want to be one of those poor slobs fighting for a case of water from the Red Cross you would be wise to prepare for the unexpected.

You can cut the shit out of that department as far as I'm concerned. The contractors for the Pentagon, too.

However, Ag does a lot more than what you just described. You just speak from ignorance about most things.

You appear to be saying that they do grow wheat in those buildings.

Making good on a promise to slash government, President-elect Trump has asked his incoming team to pursue spending and staffing cuts.
Insiders said that the spending reductions in some departments could go as high as 10 percent and staff cuts to 20 percent, numbers that would rock Washington if he follows through.

At least two so-called "landing teams" in Cabinet agencies have relayed the call for cuts as part of their marching orders to shrink the flab in government.

The cuts would target discretionary spending, not mandated programs such as Medicare or Social Security, the sources said..."

This must be what the Statists, (most Liberal/Progressive/Marxist/Fascists are Statists), are all freaked out about.

Isn't Trump also pushing for something like 9 trillion dollars in federal spending?

It's clean because you assume so, or have you had it tested?

As I recall they are talking about a ten year plan.

During the campaign Trump promised to cut FedCo jobs through attrition. Given a typical 20 year career that could mean a reduction (without firing anyone) as high as 5% per year.

The Dumpster is very careless when he speaks, and many of the things he said he would do on the campaign do cost a lot of money.

He also seems to be fairly quick to pivot, (most bidness people are pragmatic).

Bottom line, his detractors can prolly come up with $9 trillion in spending statements, (or even more fer that matter), butt: that doesn't mean he will get all those things done.

He really didn't have a whole lot of specific detail in many of his proposals which does allow him flexibility to modify them as he operates.

Clearly he is a very high risk POTUS, and we are all in a very high risk time.

I like his cabinet picks, and many of those people don't say the same things the Dumpster has said and that makes things even harder to predict.

Cutting the bureaucracy seems to be a good first step to me.
