The UK economy will suffer a bigger blow from the global energy crisis than other leading nations, according to international body the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

The UK will contract by more than any other nation in the G7 group next year, it said.

Boris Johnson to give evidence to Partygate inquiry next week

Boris Johnson will give public evidence about whether he misled MPs over Partygate on 22 March, the Privileges Committee has confirmed.

The former prime minister will be questioned by the cross-party committee from 14:00 GMT in a televised session.

In an initial report published earlier this month it said Mr Johnson may have misled Parliament multiple times.

I can't imagine the point of questioning a compulsive liar- unless to heap further humiliation on him

Apparently, the ' total arse ' just humiliated himself for three hours straight on UK TV- and pretends to believe that he is innocent. As one pundit put it- ' Johnson has a choice between being seen as a liar or a moron ' He's both of course.
