Just goes to prove that mass shootings in America is as American as apple pie, Americans have become desensitized, and the right’s solution is more guns and easier access to more guns. If that worked, America should currently be the safest developed nation in the world given we have more guns in circulation than any other developed nation in the world, instead, we lead all developed nations in gun violence

Our society is fucked up by modern technology is one theory,
but tech is just tech.

I say we're fucked up because of a lack of good, union represented jobs
and lack of universal healthcare.

The idiots who browse social media all day, even during what should be their most productive work years, will sink into oblivion by not providing for themselves.

I'm more concerned for the people who want to be productive and fairly remunerated in a safe and supportive workplace,
but don't have the opportunity.

I'm concerned for the people who can't get healthcare when nations of less prolific assets can provide it to all of their citizens.

The sheer number of guns is one issue. The broader issue is the refusal to take even the most basic steps to keep guns out of the hands of people with mental issues.

They have to pass sweeping voter suppression laws in order to keep common sense laws from being passed by sane legislators.

CNN affiliate KMGH's helicopter recorded a shirtless man being taken from the supermarket. The man had what appeared to be blood on his arm and right leg and his hands appeared to be cuffed behind him as two officers escorted him away. The man was taken away in an ambulance.
