Not long after that, she shut me out by changing my password and then she banned my home IP address.
 
Well. If she wanted to just stop and move on with life, she could forward her url here and I could take her database and migrate it here. All the posts, everything would still be there including her users accounts. :dunno:

Just sayin'.... I know I don't want this place to just die when I retire.

You've worked tirelessly for the forum and took a lot of the burden off me - making my job a hell of a lot easier and you're the reason we're still here bc I was burnt out real bad when you came on board.

And CanadianEye my best friend. We were a hard on the libs on BigPF that's not big anymore. I just love you. What else can be said? We'll be friends long after this is over.

Ladies and gentlemen, the forum will vanish around midnight west coast time on New Year's Eve. You have until then to exchange emails etc. tPF will still be open if you want to go there. I won't mind. Yeah, it's a $#@! show, but at least you'll be able to find each other.

One thing I learned since joining this forum is that XenForo is to Vbulletin as windows 11 is to windows 3.1. Not sure that database would be migration friendly.

I migrated a vbulletin site to Xenforo. It even fixed the database. LOL.
 
Look, I get her idea. And to just walk away like that could be quite satisfying. But if she wants the site to "live" past her retirement I can help with that. If she does not she certainly has every right to do so and I support her. Owning a board is sometimes a challenge, one that I find satisfying. It is my hope that I started something here that could outlive my own usefulness. Even if I do understand how satisfying it could be to just let it fade away. LOL

She has deep seated anger issues. Now that she's done with the forum it gives her pleasure to vanish it all.

I despise Leftism that is destroying the democrat party making them hostile, irrational and dangerous, I left them way back in the early 1990's. Not a big fan of republican party either thus a free-thinking Independent is what I am today.
