Breaking: FBI has 'grave concerns' about accuracy of GOP memo

not "at will". It's not like an "at will" employment.
( and this has nothing to do with the Constitution? where do you see that?)

getting rid of corrupted employees it's very difficult -look at Strzok and Page

“Tonight,” Trump said, “I call on the congress to empower every Cabinet secretary with the authority to reward good workers - and to remove federal employees who undermine the public trust or fail the American people.”

At the WILL of the executive.

If Congress ever enacted such a law, it would probably be struck down as unconstitutional. But Trump is working on the SCOTUS end of that, too.

Why did the Republicans appoint him as special prosecutor?

That’s an excellent question.

They all knew about his cozy relationship with Comey before they appointed him. They also knew the appearance of conflict of interest would compromise his findings.

Why do you think they appointed Mueller? Shortage of able prosecutors outside the Swamp...er, I mean outside the Beltway?

Because of his reputation for honesty and fair dealing.

What do you think Mueller has done wrong?

Interesting theory. I don't see the GOP establishment as that smart, able to think several steps ahead like that.

I think they appointed Mueller to appease the DNC establishment- never a good idea to placate the enemy. And the GOP doesn't understand that the DNC is an enemy, and that we are at war.

Mueller is all about undermining the election results so turn about is fair play lol.

Please tell me you don’t think that’s a big secret.

No I don't think it's a big secret. This is all about undermining Mueller, that's effing obvious.

The question is, what is Trump afraid of? Mueller can't do anything except by due process. If there's nothing there, nothing will come of it.

To be honest, for a long time I didn't think Trump had anything to hide, at least as regards collusion. Now I'm not so sure.

I agree, I’ve always thought it unlikely that Trump himself was guilty of collusion, now it certainly seems clear that Trump is afraid of something.

I'll tell you how this is going to go next. Trump will release the memo which highlights a coup by the Obama Administration. Conservatives will be calling for indictments for The Obama, Hillary, and several other high ranking members. The Left will be comparing that to a Banana Republic.

That's what Trump is afraid of.

So, you think the media and Adam Schiff are full of crap for harping about collusion for over a year?

@Right

You have a very vivid imagination.

I call it "insight".
WASHINGTON — President Trump did not need to send a memo or telephone his attorney general to make his desires known. He broadcast them for all the world to see on Twitter. The instruction was clear: The Justice Department should investigate his defeated opponent from last year’s campaign.

However they were delivered, Mr. Trump’s demands have ricocheted through the halls of the Justice Department, where Attorney General Jeff Sessions has now ordered senior prosecutors to evaluate various accusations against Hillary Clinton and report back on whether a special counsel should be appointed.

Mr. Sessions has made no decision, and in soliciting the assessment of department lawyers, he may be seeking a way out of the bind his boss has put him in. At a congressional hearing on Tuesday, he pushed back against Republicans impatient for a special counsel. But if he or his deputy ultimately does authorize a new investigation of Mrs. Clinton, it would shatter post-Watergate norms intended to prevent presidents from using law enforcement agencies against political rivals.

The request alone was enough to incite a political backlash, as critics of Mr. Trump quickly denounced what they called “banana republic” politics of retribution, akin to autocratic nations where election losers are jailed by winners.

There certainly was election meddling by an unfriendly power. Collusion is a possibility which needed to be investigated, as Rosenstein said when he appointed Mueller.

What do you think Trump and his busy helpers are afraid of?

That's what Trump is afraid of.

I’m speculating, obviously, but that may be Wray’s impetus for advocating against the release.

If, there was a coup attempt it would cause some very large dominos to fall—think: agencies and people. It would be pretty disruptive to the whole government, in fact.

Maybe time for Wray, Mueller and Trump to have a little closed door pow-wow. Let’s make a deal.

Wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

I certainly hope that doesn't happen. We didn't elect an outsider to behave like the establishment.
