Breaking: FBI has 'grave concerns' about accuracy of GOP memo

It's getting funnier by the day, now the big talking point in the right wing media, and thusly echoed here, is "coup," now does that mean that the "secret society," which was last week's conspiracy before it was busted, going to lead this supposed "coup?" Maybe you have to wait till Hannity tells you who the "coup" leaders are

And at the same time, the FBI Director, the Director appointed by Trump, Trump's FBI Director, passes judgement on Nunes's memo, "it contains inaccurate information and paints a false narrative." Imagine that, a source who could actually read the classified documents Nunes"s charade is based upon, comes out and portrays it as bogus. Must be he's part of the "deep state," or wait, is the "deep state" suppose to lead the "coup?"

Coup
Deep State
MAGA
Triggered
Collusion
Drain the swamp

Just a few of the parroted words the RW mynah birds use regularly

"FBI Deputy Director and former FBI Acting Director Andrew McCabe is forced out.

~Faced with a deadline, Trump unilaterally declines to implement in full the sanctions on Russia that he is required to implement.

~Republicans on the House Intel Committee voted to release the infamous Nunes memo which seeks to undermine the FBI. Trump-appointee Christopher Wray and numerous Democrats say the memo is opinionated and factually inaccurate.

~Congressman Adam Schiff says the Republicans on the House Intel Committee voted NOT to release a Democrat memo.

~Schiff says the Intel Republicans also voted to DENY a request by Wray to brief the committee on the real facts.

~House Intel Republicans have opened an investigation of the FBI.

These acts are clearly intended to undermine Bob Mueller’s investigation.

WHY IS THE GOP PROTECTING TRUMP?

They must know something BIG is about to drop.

We know Don Jr.’s testimony before the Senate Judiciary is about to be released. Testimony that Senator Blumenthal says will be “explosive.” Is that it?"

Susan S.

I'm curious why Reps would vote against releasing the Dem memo? Why not release them both or neither?

I never thought the Republicans would ever be at war with the US inteiligence community, in favor of trade protectionism and in love with Russia.
I never thought Democrats would have to defend the intelligence community from attack by the president, defend NATO from a Republican threat,
and fill the sanity gap with respect to what kind of state actor Russia is.
HA HA

"defend NATO from a Republican threat" - WTF does that even mean?

The IC leadership ( which is not the IC community) are the ones that started this Russiaphobia-
everyone understands Russia is a geopolitical foe, what the Russiaphobes miss ( don't care about)
is treating Putin to the point we are publishing oligarchs names for sanctions
can do more damage then ever contemplated since Sino/Russian relations improve as we increase pressure .

Instead of playing a "Russia card" we are forcing Russian and China into core alliances.
That is really bad for the future

(CNN)The FBI issued a rare public warning on Wednesday that a controversial Republican memo omits key information that could impact its veracity.
Updated 1:09 PM ET, Wed January 31, 2018

"With regard to the House Intelligence Committee's memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it," the agency said in a statement. "As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo's accuracy."

Some Justice Department officials had concerns about publicly expressing continued opposition to releasing the memo, according multiple officials. The FBI went ahead and issued the statement anyway. President Donald Trump had already been angered by the letter that the Justice Department sent to the House Intelligence Committee warning the release would be "extraordinarily reckless."

The FBI warning was the latest evidence of law enforcement and intelligence agencies raising concerns about the potential public release of a memo composed by the staff of Republican Congressman Devin Nunes of California.

Ooopppsss

FBI is like "hey its true but look at that other true stuff over there and ignore this shit".......

Unless we see all the source material, we won't know what it omits. That's the point of the Nunes ploy. Didn't they tell you that?

problem solved.....give us the source material......or will that release the identity of the FBI's source in the White House and their methods of doing surveillance on US citizens......
