Now those of us who are sentient have always known it was a hoax perpetrated by the FBI. No guns, no coordinated effort. Capitol police held the doors open. Yet leftists believe that the government was close to being overthrown that day.

I marvel at their gullibility, but then again these are the same people that believed Al Gore in 2000 when he said the planet would be destroyed in 10 years. That was 24 years ago.

The government was never close to being overthrown that day. The Capitol building was assaulted, many Capitol police injured, the building damaged, all by Trump supporters but the attempt to prevent Biden from taking office was futile, a reflection of the stupidity at the core of Trumpworld.

Oh c'mon Marty,
We all were told that an unarmed, self-described shaman dressed in a buffalo hat and facepaint with his sidekick granny wrinkles came within mere inches of overthrowing the entire US government.
The conspiracy starts with the video proof that there was velvet roped path previously laid out for them to successfully accomplish their mission.
Had it not been for the driver of the "beast" who stopped Trump's 10 foot leap in his failed attempt to wrestle away the steering wheel, single-handedly commandeer the vehicle and drive it back to the White House, America as we know it would have been lost.

It came down to a simple question. Could a statutory procedure regarding certification of the election override the Constitutional mandate for
determining the outcome of the election?

Take a guess.
 
It has become abundantly clear that Jan6 was a government run entrapment operation, with many Democrats, and a few Republicans part of the operation.


It is illegal for law enforcement to run Entrapment Ops. Many of the political prisoners were not even in D.C. on Jan6, yet spent months in prison, without due process, in solitary confinement, and in a few cases had life preserving medications denied to them. This is a gross violation of the Constitution and the political prisoners civil rights.


The Government will end up paying 100s of Millions of dollars to the political prisoners and their families, in time.


Everybody involved in the entrapment op needs to be charged, convicted, and sent to prison for a decade or two.

The FBI cannot find the pipe bomber despite having clear pictures of the perp but they were skilled at tracking down and arresting people who were never in the building and some who never were in DC on J6.
Nice that Wray, after failing to admit the fact, four years later said the FBI had planted agents.
Ray Epps anyone? I don't remember his arrest.
