The FBI cannot find the pipe bomber despite having clear pictures of the perp but they were skilled at tracking down and arresting people who were never in the building and some who never were in DC on J6.
Nice that Wray, after failing to admit the fact, four years later said the FBI had planted agents.

The FBI has pictures of the person who was on his phone when he placed the bombs. The phone records would have given the exact time, location, and identity of the person who bought the phone. They would also have a record of where that phone came from and went to after the bombs were placed. The FBI said the phone records were corrupted so they were useless.
Two bombs were placed. One at DNC headquarters at 7:54 pm on Jan 5 and the second one at 8:16pm that same night in an alley behind the RNC.
Despite the videos, phone records, and the unusual tennis shoes the bomber wore, the FBI is still totally baffled.

Note, Heels UP Harris during her entire failed campaign, not once mentioned that she could have been the target of an assassination given the bomb was just outside the DNC headquarters where she was located. Odd.

The phone company RECENTLY came out and said the FBI lied and the records they gave to the them were NOT corrupted.
Just late last week, after four years, the FBI said they had better video of the bomber. The people who are now analyzing that video and pairing it up frame by frame with the original, as we may discover on the NEW video; the face, eyes, and glasses look to have been slightly blurred or altered to defuse the possibility that AI could help with the identification.
