I have done a bit of looking.....there are a large number of trailers for her French movies done in English....which I take as proof that her movies were extensively shown to English speaking audiences.

In her day she was HOT. I use to watch her movies on local late night TV back when TV broadcasts were FREE and stations worked for your viewership via advertisers, polling and the famous NIELSON FAMILY rating monitors. Pity that as she grew older, evil festered in her soul. RIP.

Before my time, and not to throw a monkey wrench into the nostalgia, but why not, guarantee, given she never made an American film, and extremely doubtful most dived into French film, majority of the posters above reactions are tabloid generated, they knew to nothing of her. Might as well be commenting on Clara Bow
