Poor Sarah Palin can't win for losing. :cof1:
2009
Sarah Palin and her husband blasted "Hollywood/NY entertainers" as having "a long way to go in understanding what the rest of America understands" about what is, and what is not, funny on the subject of older men preying on young women....

...In her farewell address as Alaska governor, Mrs. Palin attacked the Twiggy-like nature of starlets and Hollywood's penchant for advocating gun-control laws, in the same thought -- something we did not think could be done.

"You are going to see anti-hunting, anti-Second Amendment circuses from Hollywood," she warned in that speech. "And here's how they do it: They use these delicate, tiny, very talented celebrity starlets. They use Alaska as a fundraising tool for their anti-Second Amendment causes."

2010
"Bristol Palin, oldest daughter of the former Republican veep candidate, will make her acting debut this summer on ABC Family's teener drama "The Secret Life of the American Teenager," the Disney cable network announced Tuesday.

The show bills itself as a "heartfelt" series focusing on a family dealing with a 15-year-old's unexpected pregnancy. The younger Palin will play herself in the episode but as a friend of the character Amy (Shailene Woodley) at a music program for teen mothers.

In a statement, Miss Palin, 19, assures us she is "thrilled to be on this show."

I don't see how the two equate. On the one hand, she rails against hollywood for their anti 2a/anti freedom agenda, and on the other hand her daughter is staring in a role that portrays teen pregnancy.

Because Palin rails at what she perceives as the Hollywood agenda, i.e. using "tiny, delicate starlets" to push viewpoints she hates (anti-2nd amendment), but if her daughter can rake in some bucks by going to Hollywood to push a viewpoint she likes (anti-teen pregnancy), that's a different story.

What's good for one side is good for the other. When a "right"-wing message gets to come out of Hollywood, and we all know that we get so many of these "right"-wing shows from there, we're (righties) gonna applaud it and congratulate the Palins for taking advantage of a situation offered them. It in no way equates to the [seeming] hypocrisy of Gore. That's really a stretch.

You've got one thing right... it's all about the money. The woman's a sell-out.

Well, Paperman, it's every bit as relevant as righties ragging on Gore for asking Americans to conserve energy while he lives in a mansion that uses 12 times the national average.

Take off the partisan blinders.

No partisan blinders here, toots. The constant attacks on Palin are about one thing and one thing only. Tearing down a potential candidate for office for three years instead of one. That is all.

As for Gore, if you fail to see the hypocrisy he blatantly displays, well, there is nothing I can do to help you.

For the record, I don't even like Sarah Palin. I wish she would just fade away. And I couldn't give a flying rhinoceros fart for Al Gore.

Rhinoceros farts are bad for the environment and cause global warming.

Warmie!!!! :palm:
LOL. I love that it has become a pejorative. The warmer religion is coming to a close, in the future we may be able to actually see the information, find the deviations and actually trust the results and "peer review", but that will be a long time coming.

Actually, NO... it is not the same.

Your stories are unrelated.

The Gore situation you mentioned is 100% related.
