Brits to be inundated with ' putrefying stockpiles of rubbish ' after Brexit.

Polls indicate that the majority of Brits favor a second referendum, and would vote remain if presented with the choice.

Can you cite opinion polls from the past few weeks that give clear support to either of those claims?

The original Brexit vote was made in a state of abject ignorance, as Brexit proponents lied through their teeth

The Cameron government spent millions in 2016 in effect telling people to vote Remain. It didn't work.

The refusal of British power players like May to do that suggests that they may have made personal investments that will only pay off if Brexit happens.

I think you're wrong there. I'm pretty sure Mrs May isn't doing it for a bet.

She's full of shit and obviously knows little about the UK. There is no appetite for another referendum, anybody over here know's that.

Labour DISASTER: Corbyn under huge pressure as party loses massive 10 POINTS to Tories

JEREMY CORBYN’s Labour Party has seen its support crash by six points in the polls as Theresa May enjoys a Brexit bounce and surged to a seven-point lead.

Labour slumped from 40 per cent to 34 per cent in the past fortnight, a survey survey by Opinium for the Observer shows. Mrs May’s Conservative Party stormed ahead of the main opposition party, surging from 37 per cent to 41 per cent to lead the polls. Public approval of Mr Corbyn's personal handling of Brexit also crashed to a new low of just 16 per cent, down from 18 per cent two weeks earlier.

^Mission accomplished!

The sad little bitch grew weary of getting his ignorant, cut-and-paste ass kicked.

Liberal-minded Americans seem to perceive the EU as big and progressive and therefore a Good Thing (which is why Britain would be crazy to leave).

So here is my plan for a really progressive America:

1. The President would be appointed by the state governors, with New York, California and Texas having the biggest and usually decisive say.

2. His role would be to oversee a vast and highly-paid bureaucracy, tirelessy devising zillions of regulations telling people what they can and can't do, which the states would be expected to rubber-stamp.

3. Congress would become a powerless talking-shop, but you could still elect representatives provided they don't do anything, because that's democracy.

Won't that be good?

Doesn't seem a lot different than what we have now, at least for #3.

I hope Corbyn stays around, and that Labour is never able to extricate itself from him.

If they can't work out the details in time why don't they just vote to postpone until each of the issues can be resolved?

They can't postpone it. May made a deal to leave the EU on March 29 - deal or no deal. They have had plenty of time to sort out a deal and after negotiating with 27 EU countries and getting them all to agree, the far right in the conservative party don't like the deal. The EU - quite rightly - have told May that they are not going to waste any more time re-negotiating just to please a bunch of whiny far right dickheads.

The only other option for May is to call an election. So will the pro-Brexit conservatives be prepared to risk LOSING their jobs for the sake of a getting a far right brexit deal? I don't think so.

Just like the American shut down, the brexit fiasco is due to far right conservatives who want their pro-white agenda to rule.

looks like a hard irish border will bring back the armed wing of the IRA

I know that you're not too bright but even you must know that the IRA is the armed wing of Sinn Fein. It's not so hard to comprehend, what do you imagine the A in IRA stands for?

The British government has allowed Ireland and the EU to weaponise the Irish border issues. However, according to Lord Bew, crossbench peer and professor of Irish politics, the Good Friday Agreement of 1998 is supplemented by an INTERNATIONAL agreement between the UK Government and the Republic of Ireland, the British-Irish Agreement of 1998, which pledges a solemn commitment to the provisions of the Good Friday Agreement in international law. Lord Bew points out that UK Government must insist that this is preserved and that the backstop is made temporary in explicit and legally binding terms.

Snake oil is something you end up with when you were promised something else!

Snake oil is still available- after all these years- as you will always have people trying sell it to you by substituting that for the things they truly promised!

The thing is- Snake Oil is horrible- and people still buy it anyway- thinking they were buying something entirely different as promised!

Some people in today's world will try and sell it to people who are not smart enough to know it's horrible- even if they do want it.

Brexit was sold to the Brits- the Brits tasted it- and they spit it out!

Donald Trump was sold to the Americans- that snake oil tasted like shit- and America is about to vomit that piece of shit now!

Never buy snake oil- that shit sucks- and so do the people selling it!

You are clueless on most things, but on Brexit you're just idiotic.

The Irish backstop is not about protecting the Good Friday agreement as clearly there are other fair minded solutions, including just allowing it to expire after the two year transition period, along with everything else. It is all about the EU grabbing hold of the UK by the short and curlies, controlling or reversing Brexit . The EU has become addicted to this type of control freakery and to ask it to stop now would be tantamount to asking a serial strangler to give up strangling his victims, or Desh to act like a rational human being.
