Burger King employee who never missed work in 27 years and got a backpack, movie tic

Decency?

Alright.

Tell us ALL what is the appropriate gift for a minimum wage, burger flipper who works for 27 years straight is - Mr. Expert?
Since you have decided that a a backpack, movie ticket, and Starbucks cup as a gift are 'indecent'?

For a guy who does a NOTHING job that ANY 14 year old with even a modicum of brain damage could do.
Tell us all - in great detail - what BK should have given him?
Mr. Labor Representative?

You won't because you haven't a fucking clue.

You are just trolling.

The crap is what burger king gave him for 27 years of service and not missing a day of work?!! I hope he gets a $500,000!

So?

Instead of giving $500,000 to a 1/2 a million homeless Americans.
Including tens of thousands of veterans?
https://policyadvice.net/insurance/insights/homelessness-statistics/

You want people to give it to a guy - with a job - who is freaking out because Burger King hurt his whittle feewings.
Because the HORRIBLE BK where he worked only gave the burger-flipping loser a backpack, movie ticket, and Starbucks cup as a gift.

Your sense of priorities are for shit.
All you do is stir up crap about the most petty things you can find that make liberals look great and everyone else look bad.

You are little more than a fucking troll with a hate on for all things right of yourself.
You virtue signaling prick.

Of lookie - a business didn't give all of their employees gold watches for working late one night.
Let's call out the ACLU?

Go and masturbate to a Marx poster or something.

I know that you are a stickler for details so I must point out that Burger King has nothing to do with this, it was HMSHost .

Pissed since you can even giveaway your idiotic crap on amazon

First - my books are selling better than I thought.
I only made them cheap because I do not need the money.
I did it to simply spread around my ideas.

Second - Ad hominem or WHAT.
Hello, Mr. Troll.

Third - it's 'can't' or 'cannot'.
Not 'can'.

Shit...you cannot even troll properly.

Bye now.

You know me well.

Thanks.

I am also a former cook/chef/restaurant owner, I know how the industry works.

You are welcome.

NOTE: If this guy was a burger cook for 27 years it could only be because he had no interest in better, or he is too dumb to do better. He could have easily moved to any other operation at the airport. This matters to me, I dont feel any pity.

Well, if you did all of those things.
You are an expert on it from all the perspectives.
Restaurant employee and owner.

What are your thoughts about this?

I suspect that he makes about $25/hr plus about $20k/year in benefits....I have zero pity.

Back of the envelope calculations get me to he makes about $35/hr before taxes in wages and benefits.

For flipping burgers.

Not on my pity list.

I haven't eaten at a Burger King since they stop paying taxes when they bought Tim Hortons and move there corporate headquarters to Canada to avoid paying U.S. taxes?!!

This latest act by burger king is just discussing!

Burger King employee Kevin Ford never missed a day’s work in the 27 years he spent as a cook at the McCarren Las Vegas Airport location of the chain restaurant. So when he arrived at work on the 27th anniversary of his employment and joked around about the time he had spent working at the company, management scrambled to find a present to thank him for his hard work.

The present: a string backpack, a movie ticket, a lanyard, a coffee cup, and some candy.

Ford posted a video of him opening the presents and thanking his coworkers on TikTok, and it quickly garnered thousands of views and likes. While some viewers praised his positivity and humility, others viewers online expressed shock and dismay at the small reward he received after his many years of loyalty.

On the back of the video's success, his daughter Sernya Ford set up a GoFundMe page looking to raise just an additional $200 for him to visit his grandchildren.

“The man in that video is my father. He has worked at his job for 27 years and yes, he has never missed a day of work,” Ford’s daughter wrote on the GoFundMe page.

She noted that Ford had originally begun working the job as a single father and has continued to work there due to the health insurance package provided by the company.

"My dad continues to work here because though he does look young, he is coming up on retirement age, and leaving would cost him his retirement," she wrote, adding "In no way are we asking for money or is he expecting any money but if anyone feels like blessing him he would love to visit his grandchildren."

That's pathetic as hell. My dad, who did not miss a single day of work in 38 years at the same company, at least got a nice watch, a tie-tack with a ruby on it, and some other lovely parting gifts when he retired. I still have his watch and the tie-tack, which is in the shape of a capital M (for Monsanto).
