It's more about how people still revel in his bumbling syntax, as though that sets him apart from other, more competent world leaders in a GOOD way.
Just yesterday, Dennis Miller opened his new show with a monologue praising Bush's mangling of the English language; Miller said something like "he must watch a lot of old Gary Cooper movies," and how great it was that he continued to infuriate the left.
It's annoying. There is more to the job of President than speaking well & presenting your ideas with clarity, but that should at least be a minimal criterion we have for the job...
