And USC hasn't won a national championship since 2004. Hasn't won one they kept since '03. Meanwhile, the SEC has won 6 in a row.

You're talking an individual team vs. a conference. USC went 4-0 against the SEC when we played during the 2000's. Twice we were right on the edge of playing in the national championship game.

while liberals do run california, california still runs better than most states. we have weathered severe storms and still, we are one of the largest economies in the WORLD....<-- not the US, but the world. think about that.

Uh, yeah, those are founding fathers. John Adams is actually my favorite, and I wrote my senior thesis in history on John Adams. But all we've gotten since the 50s are Kennedys, Kerrys, etc. No one worthwhile.
Who knows, though, perhaps Romney and Brown will surprise us (even though Romney is technically from Michigan).
