it must have updated after you linked, because when I checked TN was #2 to CA's #1........in any event, given the comparison of the top 5, with differing strategies of control, none of the strategies make a difference.......

That is something that does not get talked about enough, how this bug was always going to keep coming for us until we got immunity either through vaccine or other immunization. We started off right....flatten the curve, dont overload the hospitals, give ourselves some time to figure out treatments that work, give ourselves time to study this bug.....and then we got stupid.

My boy lives in TN, he says that people there act almost normal.....In CA the kids cant even play at the playground...and yet the results are almost the same...

It also has highest population density, the bases for the entertainment industry, the most agriculture, the most international trade. Basically, the state of California has more essential workers that can't sit on the sidelines than anywhere else in America. The lockdowns don't affect essential workers the same since they are deemed needed for society to function.
