Cameras in public school classrooms?

Thanks for sharing. You bring up some good points about why there could be cameras in the classroom including recording lessons and teacher training. And while I don't believe it to be a regular occurrence its not unheard of to have students either attack each other or the teacher in the classroom, so I'm sure the school is thinking of CYA by having cameras there to record it.

The school camera was in my classroom for almost half a year before I ever knew about it. I’m not even sure that it records sound though.

But like I said, these bills that are being proposed in various states come from political motivation and so I oppose each one of them.

Edit: And I can think of no reason for cameras in elementary classes.

I agree LR. The reality is no “side” in politics has a monopoly on bad ideas.
