I guess. The problem is that the people making racial faux pas are exclusively Conservatives. We're even talking about one of those Conservatives right now. We don't hear this shit out of Democratic candidates, just Republican ones. It's not hard to figure out why; the Republican Party is friendly to racists and has been for decades. Desantis is just another in a long, long line of Conservatives expressing latent racist things on the campaign trail.


I haven't followed the Florida governors race other than hearing one guy was a trump clone and the other a Bernie clone.

Yes, true that Trump and Bernie each endorsed opposing candidates. But one thing of note, turnout in the Democratic Primary in Florida yesterday was far, far, far above that going all the way back to 2006. If Democratic enthusiasm is there in November, Gillian will win. Same as Georgia. If they can turn out the vote, Abrams will win there in another Trump/Bernie proxy war.

Half our men are in prison and can't vote, and the other half are suppressed......along with the rest of the Black population.

I don't believe your facts PERIOD!. Blacks would not have made a difference in this election because the election was stolen by a bunch of racist white men.

So please, unless you are ready to face the fact that it's white men screwing over and cheating in the elections...don't tell me about Black participation.

Democrats should focus less on what racists say or think, and focus more on the real message of win Gilliam win.

Much of his success in this race is owed to Bernie Sanders and the progressive Left.

The same is true of Stacey Abrams in Georgia.

I am not here to argue with you or insult you! In fact, I agree with most of what you are saying.

I am here to tell you that voting is important, and every citizen has a civil obligation and civil right to vote at every opportunity.

OK, we agree you won't spew those lies to me again. :clink: Voting only works when cheating isn't involved. Hilary got 3 million more votes than dump, but he still won.

It's time for us to make change by 1st getting rid of the electoral college 1 person, 1 vote. Then we need to hold those accountable who cheat.

Let's hope it doesn't take 200 years to change the electoral college.
