Can America Restore the Rule of Law Without Prosecuting Trump?

As before there will be no recourse on those, only the Congress could do something and they already failed at it. He clearly indicated so in his report. The reality is, that his Executive authority will have the same affect for charges during that same period.

So, I'll ask again, what would you supposedly prosecute him for? It can't be what you said here. Now the State of NY can prosecute him for State stuff if they have any evidence, but it won't be anything Federal. At this time all we have is one partially leaked year of his taxes where his quarterly payments covered everything but some $750 or so. Nothing illegal there.

Congress doesn’t prosecute. They impeach. And they did. Twice.

You asked what he could be prosecuted for. I gave you the answer in Mueller. The only reason he wasn’t indicted was because of his position and Mueller indicated just that. Hundreds of former federal prosecutors also indicated those were easily prosecutable offenses.

NY has been looking into Trump and his businesses. We’ll just see what they find. As I said, tax improprieties, fraud, maybe a little money laundering.

But how does the country move on from a president whose disregard for the law has been so constant and pervasive? Every president seeks to exploit the immense power of the office, but Trump’s exploitation of this power represented a difference in both degree and kind. Never before had a president leveraged so much of the “energy” of the executive branch — Alexander Hamilton’s word — to advance his personal interests.

Answer: No. Our nation cannot pretend Trump was not a criminal. We need to restore justice.

What is the alleged crime?

Yes, by hanging all traitorous Democrats and propagandists.
The facts and depth of the traitorism will be brought to light before December is out. Merry Christmas!

All of the AP MSM is complicit in the execution of this. That's bad.

We can start with any of the 10 counts of obstruction of justice identified by Mueller. After that, the State of NY is no doubt investigating everything from taxes to fraud.

Appealing to the courts for justice is not obstruction of Congress .....Mueller was lying.

What is the alleged crime?

FACTUAL RESULTS OF THE OBSTRUCTION INVESTIGATION

A. The Campaign's Response to Reports About Russian Support for Trump
B. The President's Conduct Concerning the Investigation of Michael Flynn
C. The President's Reaction to Public Confirmation of the FBl's Russia Investigation
D. Events Leading Up To and Surrounding the Termination of FBI Director Corney
E. The President's Efforts to Remove the Special Counsel
F. The President's Efforts to Curtail the Special Counsel Investigation
H. The President's Further Efforts to Have the Attorney General Take Over the Investigation
I. The President Orders McGahn to Deny that the President Tried to Fire the Special Counsel
J. The President's Conduct Towards Flynn, Manafort,
K. The President's Conduct Involving Michael Cohen

Smoke and mirrors, dumbass. You got fooled.

If there was anything substantial possible they could dig up on Trump, it would have been done by August 2016.

They couldn't find anything, so then they illegally used government resources to spy on his campaign.

That's bad..

I know your sense of right and wrong is screwed up, but that's wrong.

However, as Meuller told you in his report the authority to do anything about it lay with the Congress and they've already failed at it.

And if they haven't found that in the past 30 years of his taxes and prosecuted him for it (and the IRS certainly would) they're unlikely to find it now.

I think it is unlikely that you will see Trump facing any Federal charges at all. This whole thread is a nonsense conversation about hypothetical leftist revenge and not a realistic look at what we will see when Trump leaves office. It's a bunch of whiney liberals who daydream that just because they really really don't like Orangemanbad that he'll be prosecuted.

This is what Mueller said.

Mueller Conclusion

“Because we determined not to make a traditional prosecutorial judgment, we did not draw ultimate conclusions about the President's conduct. The evidence we obtained about the President's actions and intent presents difficult issues that would need to be resolved if we were making a traditional prosecutorial judgment. At the same time, if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment. Accordingly, while this report does not conclude that the President committed a crime, it also does not exonerate him.”

“Our investigation found multiple acts by the President that were capable of exerting undue influence over law enforcement investigations, including the Russian-interference and obstruction investigations. The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General's recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony. Viewing the acts collectively can help to illuminate their significance. For example, the President's direction to McGahn to have the Special Counsel removed was followed almost immediately by his direction to Lewandowski to tell the Attorney General to limit the scope of the Russia investigation to prospective election-interference only-a temporal connection that suggests that both acts were taken with a related purpose with respect to the investigation.”

Text on a screen with no verifiable proof. You're not too good at writing essays or debate, I take it?
You are not making an assertion and proving it.
Did you attend college?

It’s in Mueller, moron. Try educating yourself for a change.

And still nothing. You are dismissed as having the intellect of a 7th-8th grader at best.

I don't need to, the state educated me, for free! And all my psyllibi had "Socratic Method" in them.

At the time, I thought it was all bullshit, but now? Holy crap! I was blessed very well!

That was at the time of just about the end of that and interoducing "gender studies" as a legit college course.
I had to pay for a lot my books, though. One time I got a book voucher check. It did not cover all I needed. They were semi-affordable back then.

With a part-time job, half your money went to books and the other half to food and gas.

I can’t fix your willful ignorance, dumbfuck. That’s something you’ll have to work on yourself.

Mueller, Volume II, stupid fuck. Have your mommy read it and explain it to you. You are obviously too lazy or too stupid to do it yourself. Or both. I’ll go with both.
