can obama produce if elected

bac

personally, i prefer one party to dominate congress and the other (or another) party dominate the whitehouse

the less legislation the better

a dem whitehouse and a rep congress would perhaps be best (assuming that a third party cannot get in)

also, as i have said before, either bo or hc would be ok as pres, just not mccain or possibly mccain with a dem congress - not that i would vote for mc - he is a certified turncoat

I don't entirely disagree with you, but what we're going to get is a dem president with a dem Congress.

The good thing about that is they'll have no excuses for not getting things done.

I appreciate your thought my brother .. seriously I do.

It's 5:30 in the morning and I haven't been to sleep yet .. trying to avoid the nightmares. If I wait until I get so tired I just drop off to sleep .. I won't dream.

Oh Bac I did not know your child was in Iraq. Your right we have to get her back home just as soon as possible. I conjoled and begged my son out of joining the marines right out of high school and for a couple of years after that. He had had a childhood memories of my brother in law fighting in Desert Storm and really though he would like to be a Marine like my sisters Hubby ( hes a fine man and I understand why he would love the marines by knowing his uncle). I really had to tip toe and talk him into postponing that one and now he may never go. It is so sad to have to talk your own son out of serving his country. That made me hate this admin even more. Bless your daughter and may she stay safe. This nightmare needs to end.

The R Congress with a Moderate D President seems to work out well for the nation. I'd like to experiment with that again...

I agree with that assessment. Problem is we don't have a moderate D running for President. While some hold out hope that we may get a Republican president, I think it unlikely. I KNOW the Congress is going to be overwhelmingly D.

Obama will simply be a rubber stamp for the Pelosi Democrats who already control Congress, the only change Obama represents is from a Republican rubber stamp to a democrat rubber stamp.

Democrats control both chambers of Congress, and that body is facing it's all time lowest approval ratings, just 16% in one poll, so giving them the Presidency to rubber stamp that agenda under the naive guise of change, isn't the brightest thing to do.

I disagree.... both Pelosi and Reid have shown what pushovers they are. They will be Obamas tools should he get elected. Neither has the backbone to stand up to anyone, let alone a Dem President.

out of Iraq, were into Kuwait to wait for Iraq to descend into chaos, at which point Obama said he would send US troops back into Iraq. It's a real brilliant plan you got there, and don't forget randomly bombing Pakistan, I'm sure that won't start anymore wars or anything, Obama's foreign policy is consistent as Swiss cheese, you're supporting him to get away from Bush's Iraq policy, then how come in 2004 Obama said there wasn't much a difference between his position on Iraq, and George W. Bush's? How do you justify your position with recent Obama rhetoric? Hope? Blind obedience? Or just plan partisan worship?
You are really starting to feel the pressure huh? Though you have not said anything you have got to be just furious with the fact that Bush has done enough damage that the Dems may actually gain up to 60 seats in the senate. And what I find the funniest, is that the guy that your party said in 2000 was TOO liberal, and TOO friendly with democrats has been repackaged and is being hawked as MR. CONSERVATIVE. He has gone from "agents of intollerence" to kissing the evangelical scrotum. He has gone from "If my daughter was pregnant, how she dealt with it would be her choice" to overturning Roe. The flip flops of McCain make John Kerry look like a man of well established principals. Don't ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for the Republican party.

How can you agree or disagree with that? I don't understand any of it.
